They spent around several million dollars completely refurbishing this resort last year, and it looked money well spent when I visited. Large, clean rooms; good restaurant; extensive array of facilities (including excellent pool); and friendly service. It is a huge resort spread out in blocks over a large area, hence you may have to walk a bit to get to the main facilities, but you can usually park near your room and, while it is on a busy stretch of I-Drive, if you use the 'back door' on to Universal Boulevard, you can usually beat the traffic congestion around here.

We love the Wyndham! Just request a room toward the back of the property to avoid the I-Drive traffic nosie!

I really liked this hotel too.
The only problem with such a long stay here is there's no fridge or microwave. That would be a real plus.

Have you thought of buying a small microwave? I've bought one for only $49. Try Wal-Mart on arrival.
