This is our first time to wdw. We are going sept. 20-sept 29 and we are staying off-site. my question is what resturants/fastfood places right outside wdw. we are staying at vistana resort ( from what I understand is very close to the park). I guess with the shorten hrs. that I do not feel obligated to not leave the park and eat in wdw. Does anyone know what kind of discounts are in the entertainment book for these places

Eat at the Orlando Ale House, just outside the Village.
You also have the new Golden Corral over by the Marriott Village, our family loves breakfast there.
We've also been to Jungle Jims and Crabby Joes.
The basics such as Chili's, Bennigans, etc.
There are plenty just outside WDW.

We liked Jungle Jims which is at Crossroads. There are plenty of places to eat there. You will be inundated with choices.

You're also close to Bahama Breeze, Lone Star, TGI Fridays, Taco Bell, Chik Fil A, McD's.

We always eat at Sizzler once a trip. We don't have them here in Houston.

For fresh (not frozen) seafood, try Landry's. It's at the corner of Vineland Ave. & 535. The food was delicious, service attentive, and the price, right:D

Pebbles at CrossRoads. Great food. Not cheap. 15-20 entrees if I remember correctly.

If you have an Entertainment book there are
good coupons for places nearby. Last year we
ate at Pebbles (really good) and also at
Jungle Jim's. We also went to Sizzler and it
had an assorted breakfast buffet. This year
the Ent. book was sold out so I don't know
what we will do. :( I saw that the new book
will be out in Aug and I will probably get it.
We are going the week of Sept 21-28 so Aug
will be a good time to get one.
