Just back! A week at CBR!

We just returned from our honeymoon, 7 wonderful days!!! We got to spend a bit of "down" time around the resort. We enjoyed the grounds (beautiful)! I will post some pictures later! If anyone has any questions, I'll be glad to try and help! A trip report and restaurant review will follow. Thanks for all of the great DIS'ers that helped make this a most memorable trip!!!

I was just at the CBR last September, and loved it!!! Looking forward to getting back there again some day. Which village did you stay in? We were in Jamaica, and were thrilled with it.

Thanks for all the good wishes!!! I had requested Martinique, but they claimed not to have that info. They also did not have the last reservation change that I made 6 days prior. A quick call to CRO fixed it!!! We were offered Jamacia at 8AM with the room ready- and took it! It was a long haul for the food court and main pool, but we had a cooler (electric) with drinks and the quiet pool was deserted!!! We got about 7 refills through the week on our refillable mug, and it will be a great souvineer! I will try to get pics up soon~ the place was gorgeous! Tipped $2-3 per day, never recieved towel animals, but toiletries were re-organized and cute! Any more questions???

Congratulations! Glad that you had fun at CBR, my DH and I stayed in Jamaica section also and really loved the building design and colors of that area. Did you go to the main pool area, was it crowded? Did you eat in the food court or rent any watercraft? I really like just walking around the lake area, watching all the ducks and other vacationers. It is a beautiful resort.

I'm so glad to hear you had as great a time at CBR as I always have had. It's bad when people are disappointed but I would feel awful if a honeymoon turned out poorly. Congratulations on your marriage! Now, you'll have a wonderful place to return to celebrate anniversaries. ;)
