View Full Version : General question on ADRs/DDP (and Cinderella's Table)

So. Within just the last day I was able to confirm that I am indeed going to Disney World! Of course, it looks like my window for ADRs would be, like, now :). We're going Jan 14th through the 18th.

Now, we plan on going with the DDP, but haven't actually added it on. I would do it now but I believe I can do it through DVC at a discounted rate, maybe? The pricing looks to be $41.99/night per adult, anyway.

So obviously I need to get cracking on reservations to actually get something good! I know about the making reservations online and kinda toyed through actually doing one. I tried for Cinderella's Royal Table, but it looked like I'd actually have to pay at that time of the reservation? I had assumed that I could just make the reservation now and then present the voucher later that day, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Basically, we're two early 20s girls going together. So any recommendations? We're Disneyland veterans but new to Disney World! Looks like we're only there for actually 4 evenings. TIA!

Unless you already have a dining plan booked, you'll need to pay for CRT (or any of the dinner shows) in advance. You should be able to get a refund later if you do use plan credits for the actual meal.

If you have a dining plan (other than QSDP) booked, they should only need your credit card as a guarantee against a no-show, but not actually to charge in advance.

My understanding is that for the latter, you have to do that on the phone; the online system (for now, at least) requires payment in advance for CRT, regardless of DDP status.

I am on the DP and was able to book HDDR online without making a payment and just doing a CC hold.
I have read how some were charged even though they were on the DP.

OP, have a great trip. pixiedust:
