I keep seeing people saying they are getting up at 3am to do ADR's on 10/27. I thought the computers changed over at 6am and the phones opened at 7am.

Yes, it's definitely 3 am. I was just awake at 2:30 am on Mon. for my Tues window (90 + 10). I tested it a few times during the two weeks prior and it rolled over to the "new" day right at 3 am each time. I had twenty ressies to make and I finished around 6:30am. But I got every single time and place I wanted, so it was worth losing the sleep! My advice is to go for it...and set the alarm and cofee pot. Good luck!:surfweb:

It took you 3.5 hours to make 20 reservations? :confused3

I was able to get all of mine (just 7) in less than 15 minutes. I love the new online system, esp that it rolls over! It opens 2am my time so I just stayed up and was in bed by 2:15.

Well, I'm not exactly bright-eyed and bushy tailed at 3 am, it also doesn't help that I wanted very specific times and dates. I also played around tweaking things for at least an hour of that time. I get a little OCD with the dining part of our trip. Sometimes I think the ddp will be my ruin! LOL

Is there a problem right now with the online dining page. I can not get it to work and I am losing it!!! Of course that my window opens at 3am!!!!!

I was booking for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and day after Christmas so I figured I was in a race with others around the world sitting at their laptop in the middle of the night so I opened all my browsers with different restaurants and just started going to town. Got them all at the exact day and time I wanted ~ I even (jokingly) put in LeCellier right before I went to bed and snagged it for Christmas Day lunch :confused3 Guess there wasn't that much of a race afterall

I went back in the morning and added another spot earlier in the week ('Ohana) without an issue thankfully.

these online reservations sure are addicting...:rolleyes1

So hopefully I can get on at midnight out here in California. That is much easier than 0300 for me!

I am in central time and there were times I went in well before 3AM and I was able to make reservations. I believe once it was before 2AM. I don't believe there is a set time, it is whenever someone working for Disney gets around to it changing over.
I am staying off property so I had to go in each day for reservations. I would hate to be in the mess thats coming the 27th. Looks like Disney would be afraid of their servers crashing.:sad2:

Yeah, I was thinking I would miss out on some places like Le Cellier, or CRT, but everything was available.:goodvibes It also felt like nothing was going to go right for me, because around 10 pm that night I got the dreaded ERROR code, even though it had pulled up my ressie all week. Then after about a half hour of booking my router just decided to konk out and my DH had to resart it, which took another 1/2 hr.:headache: I really thought I was going to have a breakdown. Then I realized I was doing all this so I could probably gain 10 pounds! :lmao: LOL Now I am going to be one of the Oct. 27th people for our BLT trip Jan. 26-Feb1. Do I dare do the 3 am wake up call again, or you think it'll be slow enough that time of year that I can just do it at 5 am which is when I'm up anyway??:ccat:

For those wondering about the times that the ADRs roll over, following is a list helpful for those in the US.

Eastern - 3am
Central - 2am
Mountain - 1am
Pacific - 12am
Alaska - 11pm the night before
Hawaii - 9pm the night before :goodvibes

Is this a new time because when I made my adrs in July, the program did not allow me to make adrs before 6 AM eastern time?

FYI - for me, the system did not roll over until 6 a.m. online. Up until 6 a.m., I could book January 13th, but not the 14th. At 6 a.m., it rolled to the 14th. I don't know if this was a one day thing. The reservation system (both online and on the phone) was glitchy this morning. One minute you could make a reservation and the next it would freeze up. The CMs on the phone were surprised - they said it had been working smoothly for the past couple of weeks.

Same thing happened to me all morning. I got up at 4am...couldn't get in until 6am and it was freezing up over and over. Took me 50 minutes to make 4 ADRs!

I made ADR's yesterday for my cousin's family for their January trip. I refused to get up at 3am. I got up at 5:30am though and the new dates hadn't rolled over yet. Couldn't get the new date until 6am. I wonder if it went back to rolling over at 6am now.
I'll be making ADR's on the 27th for my family's trip in February but really don't want to get up at 3am so I hope they did switch it 6am.

I've heard about this, but got up at 6 AM anyways, and got pretty much everything I wanted. No ADR is worth me getting up at 3 AM, sorry Disney.

We are DVC members and I was making reservations this morning for BCV for may 16-22nd and I asked the CM about dining reservations. She told me I could make them online at 6AM on Nov. 17th. I told her I had heard it was 3AM and she said no it is 6AM. Did this just change today? Sometimes the DVC CMs aren't up to date on dining info.

I am awake right now like a crazy person, and I have had nothing but trouble with the site (not just date roll over). I think it must have changed over to 6 AM. Check out this thread for details: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2310397

It would be wonderful if they went back to 6am. I'd feel no pressure to get up at 2am on Wednesday (I'm in the central time zone)

I can say with certainty that they have gone to 6 AM for online ADRs--for this morning, anyway.

I got up at 1:15 AM CST to practice with the site, and I stayed up until it worked, which was 5 AM CST (6 AM EST). It was ridiculous, and I was crazy to stay up, but at 6 AM EST on the nose the 15th was available.

Hopefully this news will help!

I really do hope it is back to 6AM. I am in NY (Eastern Time), and since my ADR window will open up on a Thursday, there is no way I am getting up in order to make ADRs at 3AM!! I normally get up at 5AM for work so the best I can do in order to maintain my sanity at work is wake up at 4:30 and get right onto the computer, then get ready for work. Thursdays are my busiest at work as well (I teach high school Italian and Spanish, and I have all 5 of my classes for one hour each on Thursdays!!).

The only ADRs I am really concerned about are CRT dinner and Chef Mickey's breakfast. However, CRT dinner is for 10 people so I have to wait until 7AM to call anyway, since it says on the dining website that you have to call the phone number in order to book parties of 10 or more. As for Chef Mickey's breakfast hopefully we will get lucky enough to get it. We will be there for 10 days and there are a few days we could do the breakfast so we are pretty flexible. We are also going in July, which helps because although it is busy summer season, it is not Christmas or Easter week so it should not be too difficult. Now, if DH decides he wants me to try for a Le Cellier dinner ADR that's another story...but I already explained to him that even if he wants that, we may not be able to get it so we will definitely have a backup plan. He's not even so sure about it, and as for me I can take it or leave it. He understands though that I won't get up to make 3AM ADRs and he already thinks I am nuts for planning our dining this far in advance, as well as for waking up at 4:30 to do it!

I have to agree with alot of you. Now that a week has passed since my CRAZY 3 am stint with my ADR's, I have begun to question my sanity! The trip I was booking for is in mid Jan. and it's such a quiet time around then. I spent all day exhausted working (I'm a salon owner). Although I'm thrilled to have gotten everything I wanted, I now realize I have a problem. I'm addicted to planning our trips!:rotfl2: For me, the anticipation of going is almost as good as getting there. :lovestruc Now I have to book the rest of our trip on Oct 27th. Oh Noooooo.....:ccat::disrocks:
