The Year of a Million Pin Codes continues for our family.............
I got mine 34 minutes ago. YAY:cool1:
We've been in a PIN drought for 10 years and now it's pouring PIN's.

Woo Hoo! :cool1: I just got ours as well. I wasn't expecting to book AP rates for our end of May trip until February or so. This is awesome! I just booked CSR for 5 nights with DxDP for $1475 for DH and my 10th anniversary! Poly was $700 more, and I think I will find plenty to spend that money on. . . (spa treatments, V & A's. . . hmmmmm!)

Which means, of course, that I won't get it. :sad2:

Does this require a PIN?? Or is this just the rates for APs?
I didn't get this email...

I just received the same pin code for room discounts for AP holders. Does anyone know if you can book more than one room using the discount. At the same time I mean but a couple of rooms near each other. TIA!:goodvibes

Is this something new that the AP holders have to have a pin number to get a discount?

It seems that way. It's addressed to AP holders and has the 15 digit pin as well.

It seems that way. It's addressed to you as an AP holder and has the 15 digit pin.
And maybe, we haven't called yet, but it may be up to 3 rooms like our last pin.

That offer is exactly the same as the code on Mousesavers (NPJ for room only, other codes for AP plus dining). I just used it tonight for my April 23rd trip at CBR. It applied to my ressie with no problem, so we just saved a bundle!!!

Will all AP holders get this email? We haven't got one. I seen in another thread that someone tried to use the code and they said it only applied to the people that got the email.

I didn't get the email and I am an AP. Also, I called twice asking for reservations. The first time I told them I heard there was an AP rate, she asked for the code, I gave it and she asked where I got, she then said that it was only valid if emailed to people.
The second time I called, asked for a reservation and then asked what the AP discount was and told they weren't out yet.

I got the e-mail, too. What's interesting is that my AP expires in early January. If I book the trip before it expires, do I have to renew my AP?
I'm just curious; I'm not likely to book the trip anyway.

For the folks that go the email...who did it come from "Disney Destinations?"

Yes, my email came from Disney Destinations.
When making my reservation tonight, the CM said they were really busy tonight between the new AP pin and AP code announced this evening (implying that there was more than just an email code available to passholders right now). Does the new AP code off of mousesavers work for all AP holders? I hope it works for you.

I received the same pin code today but it was not for AP holders. It was a general pin code for my family. :cool1:
I rebooked our stay at AKL using the code and saved ~ $1,000. I am so happy!!:banana::banana:

I had to call twice to get my code applied to the reservation. The first CM even gave me the NPJ code, but could not figure it out. I think you just need to get a CM that knows how to do it.

I got the email from Disney Destinations. I tried to get the pin applied to my Jan. trip. When I gave the number CM told me that the pin wasn't in my name--it was actually in the name of a friend of mine who I have traveled with in the past. He said I could not use the pin. So, I asked him to see if a pin was attached to my name since I too am a passholder. I was waiting for him to check and...the call "dropped"! I called back twice and could not hold any longer. Hopefully I can get it worked out tomorrow.

The email we received was directed to AP holders but had a 15 digit PIN. The code on Mousesavers is a 3 letter code. The only thing that may make them different is that sometimes with PIN codes (the 15 digit ones) you can book up to 3 rooms on it as long as you are all travelling together. The 3 letter ones only allow 1 room. Otherwise it looks like the same deal. Who knows. When we booked the free 500 giftcard in May we could book up to 3 rooms and get the $500 giftcard per room (we booked 2 and got 2 $500 cards)

My mom, sister and I are all AP holders and they both got the email and I didn't. Tomorrow we'll call and add 2 nights onto our DVC stay (weekend nights!) at a Deluxe to do a split stay.
I'm also curious how this is working for non AP people using the code off mousesavers. We have friends traveling with us in May that would buy an AP if this would work.

I didnt get that one, regular or AP version, but I got the Disney Visa email w/ 40% off mod and deluxe and since that is what we want for the spring that works out perfect for me. I'm going to call first thing in the morning and see what is open. :cool1:

Both DH and myself got the email. I can't wait to call tomorrow. This is just what I was looking for!
I got 4 of these AP pins. I regularly make sure my AP is registered by going online and making sure my profile is up to date. Between this one, the Visa one and the other ones folks are talking about, I'm wondering if you can add dining to any of them w/o ticket (AP holder). I have used this AP pins before and they are good for 3 rooms and you can use them multiple times if within the timeframe. Since I have 3 trips planned before the cut off date, I have to figure out what I'm doing, as we leave tomorrow for WDW.

I applied the AP discount to my room with dining without having to buy a one day ticket yesterday.

Great, haven't received an email with the AP PIN, so tried calling with just the 3 digit one. They have to have both the 3digit and 15digit code in order to give the discount.
Has this happened before with AP discounts? Thought this was one of the perks

So the NPJ code didn't work for you? That's too bad, I was hoping it would work for a friend that plans to buy an AP.

No, the code didn't work on it's own. Just read a comment of Mousesavers facebook fanpage that may explain it though. They mentioned that codes have been released to TAs before being fully loaded into the system, so make take a day or two before it's usable. Hopefully that's the case here :goodvibes

Hi all! We actualy got 3 of these PINs. We just got new APs in Sept. I had registered mine @Disneyworld.com. I got 2 e-mails to my current email, both with the same PIN. My DH got a different PIN @ an older email address. I had registered his name at that email address last year when I was trying to get the 40% code & I was registering us for everything! I did not register his AP there & I don't remember them asking it when we bought the AP. So I guess their computer put it together without us having to register the AP.
Anyway, since we were there in Sept. , are going in Dec. & planning for next Sept, I don't think I'll be able to talk DH into going again during this time frame. His vacation time is limited & he won't spend it all @ DW; says he needs to get things done around the house once in awhile!:rotfl:
Hope that since we got these PINs we'll be on the radar for any future ones, too. Hoping to take our DD & SIL in Sept & a great code would really help.:)

This is our second pin code and we may actually be able to use it!!!!
We had planned to go to Seattle during February but if that falls through we will definitely make another WDW trip to get more out of our APs.
This may be our last big push for Disney trips. We have made 10 trips in the last 5 years and it is time to slow that down. Our last APs we used for 4 trips.

Would I be allowed to book this offer just by using an AP voucher?? I tried to register the voucher online, but it kept telling me that the number was invalid. So in my profile I'm not listed as an AP holder. :confused3

My friend called and tried to apply the code NPJ and it wouldn't work without the PIN as well.
So, since my mom got the PIN, we booked 2 nights at WL in front of our DVC BLT stay. The CM said we could apply our PIN to up to 3 ressies, including a friend's if they overlapped dates, so we applied the PIN to our friend's cash BLT ressie since we're traveling together. This saved her over $1300!!!
Plus we got the WL on the weekend for just $216 including tax a night in May. Yay!:woohoo:

I called today to try to apply Disney Visa to AKL CL room 1/20 to 1/27 but the CM said it wasn't available. She asked me why I wanted to give up my 4/3 deal and I told her I was an AP and didn't want to buy tickets. She said I had the AP pin and that did work!!! I did not get an email or an email on Visa. So now I'm paying $210/night instead of $200/night under 4/3 but not buying $450 worth of tickets I don't need.
Then I was able to book Pop 5/1 to 5/8 with same pin!!!
I just received the same pin code for room discounts for AP holders. Does anyone know if you can book more than one room using the discount. At the same time I mean but a couple of rooms near each other. TIA!:goodvibesCM told me that I could book up to 3 rooms per trip with the pin.
Is this something new that the AP holders have to have a pin number to get a discount?I wouldn't say that yet. Last year there AP pins that I was very jealous of-I have NEVER received a pin until now-only to my address in other friends' names.

I got the e-mail yesterday, but did not know it until today (thanks to the disboards I checked my e-mail or else I might not have checked for a few days). I called and was able to use my 15-digit pin and got the Poly CL Lagoon view for $1461.38 for three nights end of May! I am so excited!!!!
But I was so excited, I forgot to ask about adding DDP (and they didn't ask if I wanted it). Can I call back and add it? I'm so afraid of something getting screwed up and Disney accidentally canceling it. Has anybody added DDP to a reservation using the 15-digit pin code?

I booked 2 AP trips-one in Jan for AKL CL without DDP and one for May at Pop with DxDDP.
I love Poly LV CL! I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Thanks! I called back and got a really helpful, knowledgeable CM (Merrill- he was awesome!) He told me he had to rebook it using a package, but was able to get it. We are now booked Poly Lagoon CL with DDP. We have never stayed at the Poly- it has been a dream of mine.
We stayed AKV Concierge in August and absolutely loved it. As a matter of fact, it really spoiled DD and DH so that is why I wanted concierge again next year. Have one of those chocolate chip pastry things for me in January- they were so good! I hope you have a great time :goodvibes

How do you get your profile to update? If I go into my profile and just check the boxes to get promos and insider it comes up that I have to enter my email address as if I am changing it. Can't get it to work for me.

My email had the same wording as the OP (You don't have to fall down any rabbit holes to find Wonderland. Not with a great offer like this!, etc, etc).
Save up to 35%*
at any of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels!
For stays during these select weeks:
1/5/10–2/11/10
2/21/10–3/11/10
4/25/10–5/27/10
Yep, my offer was for Disneyland (California) Resorts. What the heck?!? Haven't been there in literally decades. Maybe that's why they're trying to lure me out there, eh? ;)
