ok, time for the next layout challenge... I like templates and colours... so... it's a template and colour challenge. :) you have roughly 3 weeks, from now until nov 8th and EVERYONE is welcome to play. (traditional, hybrid, digital, etc) The theme is open to whatever you wish to scrap. There is no Disney requirement.

my oh so charming 14yr old daughter kate will draw a name at random on Nov 8th. The winner will host the next challenge.

it is from the page maps website under the basic grey sketches (feb2008) and is by becky fleck. Feel free to flip it, move the picture row down... put the title above the picture row, just keep the picture row together. :)

I think since it is still fall I would like to see fall colours, so you should use any of the following: orange, red, yellow, or brown somewhere in the layout. You can use just one or you can use them all.

Digital scrappers, please feel free to post your sources with your layout. However, please do not include any links, only plain text.

I think that about covers the basic game plan... get scrapping! :)

That looks like fun! Not sure I understand that circle around the middle photo - is it a mat? Or a ring around the photo?

you know, I just assumed it was a mat, but now that you say ring, maybe it's a ring around the photo? y'all can make it a circle mat or a ring, either way. :)

Oooh, maybe I can use some of that bling I've been saving up for the end of the world as the circle (I just keep buying and buying and buying it - I need to use more of it!).

I hosted a challenge on here several months ago and that is the exact sketch that I used! :lmao: The funny thing is I used orange and brown in that layout too! (Great minds must think alike!)

For the circle in the middle I cut it out of clear plastic and then distressed and inked the edges. It came out really cute and added dimension to the page.

Okay.... I'll try again to get in on a challenge. I have most of the BF Page Maps in a binder and I don't remember this one, so I will print it and post it PROMINENTLY above my scrapping table. Hopefully I will actually accomplish this one!..............P

I'll have to give this one a try. I really like the page map. My biggest problem is using only 3 pictures. I take waaaaaay too many pictures.

I love the "guard cat" photo, nicurn!

Mine is done, photographed, but yet again, awaiting download to the computer. (I really have to have DH to do it in front of me this time, so I can learn how to use the new "toy". But lately it's been divide-and-conquer where chores are concerned.)

Mine isn't fall themed, though I did use the colors, but I had exactly 3 pictures of something, so it worked out.

Can't wait to see more.

I rarely do one photo layouts, but this is the opening page for our visit to the GC. I'm not sure that I like it as much as the one I did for my other child (I do similar albums for them concurrently), but it is pretty good. Thanks for the challenge!..............P

ETA: The dark brown looks almost black... but it is dark brown.

so y'all have ALL DAY today to upload a layout, I am at a feis that will most likely go ALL day... probably not home before 8pm so I am going to say that dd will draw a name tonight at 9pm... :)
