DD and I took a short trip to combine free dining, Food & Wine (our first), and my birthday at the end of September. This was our 4th Free DDP trip and we feel like we have the plan down cold. But, in the end, it wasn't as smooth as usual. I think there were several reasons for this.
1. The trip was short (only 5d/4n) & we were trying to squeeze a lot into a short period of time.
2. It was really crowded, did I say crowded? IT WAS CROWDED!!!! Who let all these people in? Why aren't those kids in school? And does EVERYONE really have to use an electric scooter?!?!? :confused3 I expected busy restaurants but not the parks in general.
3. Should never have booked a TS for F &WF day. The sampling was WONDERFUL and we should have just continued that instead of doing a TS. We had the Fantasmic pkg at Brown Derby so had to pay for 1 TS OOP. We could have saved our $ by not using a TS that day.
4. Always takes the first CS meal to convince DD that we can't eat a CS on our own so we ended up 1 short for lunch at the airport.
My DD's laptop is acting up so I'll continue this later!!
