Help!! Myself and my 4 year old son just learned that we have celiac disease which prevents us from eating any food that contains wheat, oats, rye, barley, etc-anything that has gluten in it. Obviously, this is very difficult. Is there anyone out there that has experience with this disease as well as any tips on traveling & dining at WDW?
Every year my husband and I would always go to France to get their wonderful pasteries, but it looks like Im no longer going to be able to do this:( :( :(
Thanks so much for your help!
You are in luck. Disney offers special diet foods at their sit-down restaurants, with 24 hour notice. Tell Disney Dining when you make your reservations. They have experience with gluten-free diets.
Here are some links to previous discussions about special diet at WDW.

hi and welcome to disABILITIES.
teri already gave you some good links. The phone number for the executive chef's office is probably in one of the links; it's (407) 824-5967.
People have posted that the sxecutive chef's office was very helpful with telling what ingredients are in different foods and what can be substituted.

You are probably aware of this web-site for general info and recipes etc...but in case you haven't gotten it before, here it is
gfcfdiet.com
sorry I don't have any info relating to WDW and the diet.

My ds is on a GFCF diet. We have never had a problem finding something to feed him. Make at least one PS a day & mention the diet restrictions. The chefs are very helpful. At Hollywood & Vine they made a special plate for him.
