No, you must purchase a Magic Your Way Package, which includes room, tickets and the dining plan.

Only Annual Passholders can add a dining plan to a room-only reservation.

They actually can't - adding a dining plan to an AP holder's reservation makes the reservation into a ticketless package. It is then no longer a room only reservation and is subject to the same deposit, payment, change and cancellation policies as other package reservations. The only difference is that AP holders don't have to purchase tickets as part of the package.

Believe a seasonal pass is treated the same as an AP or PAP for booking a WDTC package.
But again, AP-ers can book a WDTC (ticketless) package specifically for AP holders. You will not be adding a dining plan to a room only res.
A room only res is just that, room only.

Military can add it with the current promo without buying tickets. Just booked another mini trip taking advantage of this!

Yes they can - but I believe that is also considered a ticketless package and not addition of dining plan to a room-only reservation. This is done so military guests can take advantage of the special military discounted tickets which cannot be bought with a WDTC package reservation.

Not take away from the OP, this does kind of go along with the thread. I am an AP holder, I am staying as a guest of my friend who is a CM and using the 2nd bedroom program. Is it it possible to add a dining plan? Since it's me staying as a guest and he's not staying with me, I didn't know if I could call the Cast Member 800 number to inquire or make changes to my reservation, although it is under my name. I figured that I couldn't, but having an AP might change it. I know that I can get great info from the experts on disboards!! I hope I am making some sort of sense here! Thanks so much!

Keep in mind that just because you have to have tickets doesn't mean that you have to have length of stay tickets.
You can buy just a 1 day pass...and it is good until you activate it/forever.
