Has anyone gone to Hawaii - either resort in Conceirge collection?

We're thinking of going to Hawaii in Fall of 2003. Can anyone tell me of their experiences at either of the 2 Conceirge collection resorts? We've never been to Hawaii at all, and I'd like to hear about both resorts before we make a decision. Thanks!

We spent 8 glorious days at the Mauna Lani on the Big Island over Easter week this year. It was a fabulous trip!

I wrote a detailed trip report when I got back. I've never been successful trying to post a link, otherwise I'd be glad to do so. But you can do a search with my name and the key words "Mauna Lani", and you should find my trip report.

I would go back to the Mauna Lani as a point splurge in a heartbeat. Some day I hope to get to Kapalua Bay too, since I've not yet been to Maui.

Some members have had good luck trading out points for other Hawaiian resorts, so maybe they'll also share some info with you.
