we are renting points for a stay in January at BWV and we are doing the dxDDP. Will we be able to order in-room dining? I know guests on the Inn side can - just wondering about the villa side.

We have never done it but all resorts offer in room dining. I know that they offer a pizza deal for the DDP but I don't know about other items.
Our in room dining consists of home cooking in the Villa. :goodvibes

Yes, in-room dining is available to you. It requires 2 credits per meal. If you do pizza delivery, it's 2 credits for a pizza, 2 drinks (not alcohol), and 2 desserts.

Does OKW offer pizza delivery? I didn't think they offered any in-room dining at all. My recollection is that SSR only offers pizza delivery from POFQ. I would assume the both do?

The pizza deal was advertised on the TV at OKW in August. I would never do it though.
Use $100 worth of credits for a $20 pizza? :scared1:

And for Disney pizza at that! Crazy, and I bet people do it. Makes it easy to see how Disney makes money on DDP!

I was actually wondering more for breakfast. I saw a review with pics of the breakfast someone ordered at the Beach Club using the dxDDP, and there was enough food to feed an army! I just thought it would be a nice treat one day not to have to be "up and at 'em" at the crack of dawn!

To each his own, but I would NEVER spend 2 dining credits for breakfast delivered to the room. I'd be more likely to spend less than $5 making breakfast for all of us using the kitchen. It doesn't take long to make pancakes, bacon, eggs and fruit juice and coffee. I usually simplify it even further by doing oatmeal, toast, orange juice and tea.

Cooking breakfast isn't an option. I'm on vacation, which means I hang up my cooks hat for a week! I realize that two credits may seem a waste to some, but apart from that, does anyone know if it's do-able?
By the way, going by the pictures on someone else's report at the beach club, a 2-credit breakfast would easily feed 2 people.

I still think there are better options. Breakfast is always a poor use of TS credits (That are worth ~ $30 each)
I did notice that in-room dining does include Gratuity, so there is a tiny additional value, but a tip does no mean an added meal to me(using 2 credits) but it would save you a little OOP cash.
Actual restaurants do not let you share a single entree, but I cannot find anything about sharing a single inroom dining entree.
I also assume you are not dealing with any kid credits (I could never make sense of using 2 adult credits on a Pizza because then I essentially loose the child credits, too.)

Allears lists a menu for in room dining at the BWI and BWVs. It does not state if DXDDP is accepted. Here's the menu:

The page showing the locations that accept DxDP shows in-room dining is eligible at BWI/BWV.

Maybe I am a bit snarky from my crummy day at work. But OP if you can do it (which I unfortunately do not know the answer to but will go do some searches for you) you do whatever you want!! They are your credits and your $ spent on those credits. You go ahead and hang up your cooks hat and spend whatever you want on room service!!
OK just had to get that off my chest. . better go suit up now. . .:duck:
And to answer your question, yes you can and it take two credits. . check her and scroll to the chart at the bottom http://allears.net/pl/packages09a.htm
Oh BTW I have shared meals before too. Unless this is a new rule. Of course you can't share buffets. .

Shared a single entree when on DDP (not counting sampling 2 entrees)? At one point they "cracked down" against doing that, although I noticed that mousesavers does not mention that no sharing rule, now.
I have shared entrees paying OOP/TIW discount no problem.
