I found another great reason to go solo today

I'm currently on a solo trip, and for the last 7 months I've been sure I was going to the MK to watch "Wishes" tonight. Well, I overate at lunch and boy,is it HOT! So I dumped the "Wishes" idea,and came back to my resort and air conditioning. Right now I'm nursing my Alka-Seltzer, shoes off in the cool air. Maybe I'll go sit on the balcony in a bit. But if other people were with me- "Awww,but Mom,we were really looking forward to seeing 'Wishes'". When I'm solo, I get the only vote of what to do,and if I change my mind at the last minute,so be it.

Exactly! I go solo all the time, everyone's 'too busy' or 'why would you ever want to go to [I]that[I]place?' The only person you have to ask whether to do something is your 'self' as in 'self, I want to go do this, what do you think? Well, I think that would be a terrific idea!'

this is exactly what im looking forward to experiancing on my first solo trip (in 36 days!) the only day i have planned is the kttk tour and emh for mk...i want to try and see the kiss goodnite. and with my youngest being 2, who knows how often ill have that chance!

This is so true. I was really surprised at how my schedule differed when I was solo vs when I went with family.
