they have a horse carriage ride at POR to POFQ along the water. i did not do it but i passed by it a few times and it looked cute. they also have water taxis to DTD so you could do a nice dinner there take a boat ride, do the carriage ride, and then take a bus or the water taxi back.

You might want to consider taking the carriage ride out of Ft. Wilderness. It's a nice way to see the Christmas decorations on display by the campers.
During our honeymoon at WDW in 2000, we were in our own little world. Our romance happened while we strolled, hand in hand, up Main Street while everyone else rushed to hit rides. We took a bottle of wine, rented a boat, and just enjoyed each other's company for a couple of hours. Simply put... it's your honeymoon... the romance is within you. Congratulations!!

I say, get a trinket as a memento of your special occasion. A piece of jewelry or something you really enjoy, it doesn't have to be expensive. Just something that you can look at and remind you of your special time. I have one I look at 23 years later. Congratulations, and may you have many more trips to DW...;)

If you decide to do the carriage ride at Fort Wilderness or perhaps a bike ride earlier in the day, hang around for the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Fort Wilderness has rows of chaise lounge chairs on the beach. You will have a great view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks that reflect in the water and the sound track is piped in. Soon after is the electric boat parade. Fun things to do without the massive crowds you can find at Magic Kingdom.

DH and I love laying on the hammocks on the beach of the Polynesian. We also recommend doing a carriage ride at POFQ-- you can bring champagne with you! My favorite memory was watching the fireworks from outside California Grill with a glass of champagne in my hand my husbands arms around me. It was so beautiful I cried (although, that could have been the champagne!)
Also, just something random. We have never been into pin collecting, but beginning on our first trip when we got engaged there, we bought an enagement pin. Then a honeymoon pin. Now whenever we go to disney, it always seems we're celebrating something. We have quite the next collection (5 so far) to represent each big step/trip in our lives together.
I wish you guys many happy years together!

The favorite parts of our 2008 Disneymoon:
1. Dinner at California Grill during the Wishes Fireworks. Amazing food and amazing view.
2. Our first dinner was a Cinderella's Castle. It set the tone for the entire trip.
3. Acting like little kids any chance we got. We went on every ride, got pictures with every character, and enjoyed just being together in the happiest place on earth.
Just enjoy yourselves every minute. We still talk about our Disneymoon and can not wait to go back again.

We are headed to DW this month for our honeymoon.
Our goal is to just be kids for the whole trip! And enjoy every minute of it. Have a great time on your honeymoon! :yay:
