View Full Version : I made it to Round 2!!

I just got an e-mail 20 minutes ago that I made it to round #2 for the Moms Panel! Whoo hoo! Now I have to answer 3 more questions and submit a picture (which is going to be hard since I am ALWAYS behind the camera!!!)

I am so excited!!!:woohoo:

Congratulations! I'd heard that the e-mails would be going out today to those who made it to the next round. Maybe you won't be the ONLY DISer!

I GOT MY INVITE TO ROUND 2!...I'm so hoping to be the token Disney Dad...it would be so great to get to the third round...that's the week before my b-day...what a great present that would be...now I just have to take a good picture of myself (which I find hard to do) to submit with my essay questions.

Congrats to everyone else who gets one too...

Congrats. I too would love to be the "token" Dad, but it doesn't look too good for me at this point. :sad2:

I think that it is great that you made it to the second round with only a couple WDW visits under your belt (if your signature is correct)! Nice to know that you can make the second round without being a "I have been to WDW twice a year since I was 10" candidate.

Best of luck to you on round two (and hopefully round three)!

I just asked DW if she ever applied, and she said she didn't get around to it... :(

I should try and be the Token Dad next year - I answer enough questions on the Theme Parks board as it is! This year's Token Dad actually just referred all Fastpass questions to my web page...

i got my rejection email just 20 minutes ago, but it is all good, i mean chances are pretty slim with the huge number of applicants (which means you guys are really awesome then! :thumbsup2)

For the second year in a row I get to be in the Walt Disney World Moms Club. In other words, you didn't make it again but you come visit us. Oh well, I also wanted to be the token father on the panel.

I made it to the ranks of the "Thanks, but no thanks" club. Good luck to those chosen. I hope we have good representation from the Dis on the Panel. I was trying to make it as the token non-parent. Who says you need to be a parent to have taken kids to WDW? I did!

My signature is correct in that I've only had two "long" trips to WDW and one cruise, but we moved to FL this summer and are now AP holders and have made lots of short weekend or day trips since then...still not equal to what you have of course, but I hope to get there eventually.

I want to thank everyone for the well wishes...alot of what I know about Disney has come from The Dis and other fansites and podcasts...without them and their fans, I probably would never had gotten though. I hope more than one dad makes it since so many men are Disney fans.

We moved to FL this summer too. We live in Viera. Maybe we will run into one another in the parks. It is so fun living so close. :goodvibes
