I stayed in the santa fe last may but didn't eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast, was thinking of having an evening meal there and using the food vouchers to save a few pennies.
anybody had an evening meal there and am i right in thinking just one character walks around at certain times on an evening or did i just dream that up :confused3

Best thing about the Santa fe is the restaurant. Lots of good Tex-Mex food. Never saw a character all the time we were at the Santa Fe.

Both times I've eaten at the Santa Fe, we've seen Pluto and Goofy (I'm convinced Goofy lives at the Santa Fe, the number of times I've seen him there :lmao:).
If you look at the notice board going through from reception to the hotel shop, you'll find the scheduled times for the characters to be at the restaurant. From what I remember, it was around 7.30pm for half an hour, then again at 9pm for a similar time.
The Santa Fe food is good, but get there early to enjoy it best (ie just before the parks close). Otherwise it can turn into a scrum very quickly.

thanks guys.
i think goofy lives there too, we saw him loads last may and my daughter loves him so her goofy toy goes everywhere with her so she was very pleased to see him loads.
i thought i had seen an advert for character times and i emailed disney to check this and they told me this restaurant wasn't a character meal so no characters:laughing:, i didn't think i was going mad!

We are staying at Santa Fe - do they have any veggie items on the buffet?
