Hi all!

Meant to check this place out last time we were at DL. Any information about this property would be appreciated.

It's below $70 a night on various sites for 2Q w/ sofabed with cont. breakfast (a must for us!!!). Need two nights mid-August.

Ramada Ltd on Harbor is $84 (no breakfast!) and Quality maingate is $64.90. Other suggestions welcome!

Thanks.

I haven't personally stayed there, but the AAA book gives it 2 diamonds. The ad for the Islander Inn & Suites reads "Free continental breakfast, shuttle to disneyland Resort, Refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer and iron/board in ALL rooms, in room coffee and tea maker and am/fm clock radio. Features: Heated pool, guest laundry, non smoker rooms, fax services, view of fireworks display, restaurants nearby, front door pick up fo tours, airport bus and malls." anaheimislander.com

I was going to stay there but opted for a closer place, due to the fact my girls will need naps/breaks during the day.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I have talked to a couple people who have stayed there and they said it was okay. Nothing special but it does the trick. It is a bland looking two story older motel on Katella between Disneyland and Highway 5. It would be a 15-20minute walk depending on your speed. For quite a while they were not listed in guides and then a few years ago remodeled and were added back onto the lists.

Thank you both!

Still looking for other opinions...hasn't anybody stayed there!?!?!?!?!?

We don't mind driving to the parking structure, so we won't walk it.

Last month we stayed at the Days Inn at 1111 harbor, and it was fine - although it's been panned recently on these boards. I got that for $55 a night, and it was VERY convenient to the parking structure, so I may return there, but the Islander rooms are larger (sofabed).
