DH won't eat meat or fish and isn't allowed to eat cheese. Is he going to drive me nuts for the 2 days? I really wanted to go to Annette's Diner for one meal - is it all hotdogs, etc? Is it true that most meals are about £20 a head? Can you get snacks for lunch which would be cheaper?
We'll be staying in our campervan in the carpark but I don't want to have to cook unless necessary.
Thanks.

Can you do that?
My missus ate pizza, chips and salad.

I hope you can do that, I've been told you can. Apparantly there is a special part of the car park for "camper cars" and you're charged 13 euros a night. There are toilets and showers.
DH can't eat pizza.

Annettes do a yummy veggie burger-it sounds strange as it's made with a kind of potato hash, but it is fab! Also Billy Bob's in the village do a nice veggie chilli in their cheaper non-buffet range.
I find counter service meals most challenging to find veggie options in but haven't had a problem with table service restaurants. Colonel Hathi's was OK for counter service as they do a range of pizza and pasta (I had the pasta which I enjoyed).
Have a great time! :goodvibes

I can second the hash brown burger in Annettes, it is much nicer than it sounds :)

Even better if followed by a chocolate brownie :rotfl2:

I'm a vegetarian and I manage to eat well at DLRP. One thing you will have to watch out for is fishy dishes marked with a 'V' next to them- in France, it appears that they consider someone who eats fish a vegetarian!
As your husband can't eat cheese, this narrows down his options, so I would suggest trying the buffet restaurants: they have great dishes for vegetarians, including various salads and potato dishes. I have eaten at Plaza Gardens, Agrabah Café and Restaurant des Stars and they all have very good veggie dishes, plus many meat/seafood dishes for you.
I wasn't aware you could stay in a campervan in the car park either! Have you checked directly with DLRP that you can do this?

I haven't checked directly with the park but know a lot of people via campervan forums who've done it. Plus on Google Earth there is a photo of the campervan carpark with all the vans and motorhomes lined up.
I'll find out tomorrow if its true. I will have a heart attack if it isn't!

If I were you I'd call them to make sure. It's better to be 100% and avoid that heart attack!

Just to let you know incase anyone else was interested that you can park in the carpark overnight. It cost 13 euros for the 3 nights as the guy on the gate would only take payment for one night. I think you're meant to go up to the plaza and pay for subsequent nights but noone enforces it and its too far to walk.
Word of warning - the gates are locked at night. We were meant to leave at 5:30am to catch the ferry and the gates don't open till 8:00am. Some nice security man took pity on us and let us out at 6:30am but we made the ferry with seconds to spare. Racing to Bolougne at 80mph in a 30 year old camper van is not good.
