Valet Parking

My husband and I did the Race for the Taste 10K this morning. We went back to the AKL after the run to shower and check out. We went through the valet line, and the valet told us parking would be $12. He said that starting today valet parking was no longer complimentary for members. Obviously we chose not to valet for only a couple of hours. On the drive home my DH called Member Services and they told him there is no more complimentary parking at any of the DVC resorts.

Did anyone know this was happening? Does anyone know why they did this? Just curious.....

Thanks for the link. It looks like that thread was just started yesterday, so it seems like it is a surprise for everyone. I didn't read the whole thread yet, but I guess we've got verification that it is true.
