Free dining in October?

If we book 2010 around fall break, the dates would probably be Oct.16-23. Is free dining usually offered during this time?:dance3:

I think it's still going on this year. I'm waiting for the same answer for the same time period next year!

Too early to know yet, but the only free dining dates released for 2010 so far are 8/15-9/30/2010 for the resort guests visiting now booking a Bounceback package for next year, and 8/1-11/18/2010 for UK residents (only).

This year's dates were:

For stays 8/2/09-10/3/09 for UK Residents, became available on 8/20/08, exp 11/4/08
For stays 8/16/09-10/3/09 for Disney VISA cardholders, became available on 3/26/09, exp 6/21/09
For stays 8/16/09-10/3/09 for general public, became available on 3/30/09, exp 6/21/09
For stays 8/22/09-10/3/09 extended for general public, became available on 6/10/09, exp 7/26/09
For stays 8/23/09-10/8/09 last years Bounceback offer for guests staying last year to book ahead for 2009, became available on 8/24/08, exp 10/24/08
For stays 9/27/09-12/17/09 extended free dining dates for Disney VISA cardholders, became available on 7/24/09, exp 9/26/09
For stays 9/27/09-12/17/09 extended free dining dates for general public, became available on 7/27/09, exp 9/26/09

Maybe at the end of next July (especially if the economy is still bad) they will do the same as this year and release free dining until December so your mid-October dates will be covered :thumbsup2

This year, yes.But only because they extended it( which you can not count on).It originally ended OCT 3rd... Which is about the norm for the last few years.Don't go by this year alone since the only reason it was extended was because of the economic meltdown

So if we go ahead and book for fall break 2010 and later the free dining comes out for our dates do we just call and have Dis add the free dining to the existing ressie or would they have to cancel our ressie and make a new one?
