We are going for 5 days from 28th Dec-2nd Jan and i'm sorting out my plan and making a list of reservations for main meals (if any are still available - i'll have a plan B!!)

Monday lunch after arriving - Annettes Diner (no reservations)
Tuesday - Buffalo Bills show
Wednesday - central Paris
NYE - ???
NYD - Cafe Mickey lunch

Our NYE plan is to come to DLRP (staying off site) early afternoon and have a big meal and a bit of a browse in the Village before going into Disneyland Park by dusk (still not sure when the best time to get in for is??)

I want to reserve a meal if I can but i'm not sure where......

A lot of places are doing a very expensive main dinner for NYE so i'm not sure if it is normal business and prices during the day....

I considered Cafe Mickey for NYE lunch instead of NYD but thought it would be a total scrum.......

Any recommendations would be great - 2 adults, dream APs, and not wanting to spend a fortune!!!

Thanks!!

I don't see how Cafe Mickey will be a scrum ~ we have eaten there in the evening over the Christmas period when they were turning people without a reservation away yet we weren't rushed over our meal, we saw plenty of characters and the staff still had time to do their spot of dancing.

I think this will be a fantastic choice for a NYE meal. An alternative might be a late lunch at Walt's ~ I think they will charge normal prices for lunch.

Thanks, I would like to do a late lunch at Cafe Mickeys on NYE - I was hoping around 3pm, what time do the characters go in??

I think the characters finish about 2.30-2.45pm then come back about 6pm. If you're going to do a late lunch then I'd suggest booking for about 1.30-1.45pm so that you don't miss out on any characters. Lunchtimes are quieter in the sense that the characters/CMs don't do any dancing (and I would say normally quieter as in less people but that may not apply on NYE ;) ) but the place still has a lively atmosphere.

Enjoy!! :goodvibes
