Path from OKW to DD?

Is there a walking/jogging path from OKW to Downtown Disney? If so, how long is it and is it worth walking to avoid having to rely on Disney trasportation? We've done the walk to MGM from the BW and think it's a great alternative.

BTW, what is the mode of trasportation from OKW to DD? Is it busses or is there a boat? Do we share the routes with any other resort?

I haven't taken it myself (yet) but it is behind bldg 55 and is about a 20 minute walk to DD. There is another link somewhere with pictures, which I could not find.
