We want to do the FW carriage ride after seeing the 7:15 show of Hoop De Doo. What time should we scheduled the carriage ride for? I am not sure how long the HDD is.
Thanks!:D

When I asked Disney about the show length they told me it was between 90 minutes and 2 hours. I can't understand why they don't know the exact time!? Anyways we were going to do the wagon ride at 9:30pm and we are also doing the 7:15pm show. I am wondering though if this is the same as the Carriage Ride? My understanding was that it was just a hay-ride type trip on the back of a flatbed. I was wondering if you had to make reservations or just show up? I'll have to check it out.

We did this last May after the 7:15 HDD show. Hay bales on a flat trailer drawn by 4 gorgeous horses that were hugh! If you go on a night that MK has the 10:00 fireworks they will stop the wagons by the lake where the music for the firework show is "piped" in and you can actually listen to the music while you watch the fireworks. We really enjoyed the ride. Our driver was very friendly and informative. She stopped the wagon over one culvert and shone a large spotlight down into the streambed. There was a large alligator snoozing away!
If you go on a weekend, leave the HDD as fast as you can to get in line. No reservations and this is very popular.

Jo Ellen,
It sounds like you're talking about the hay ride as opposed to the carriage ride???
Does anyone know if the $30 covers the family? How many can fit into the carriage?

just to clarify on these two separate rides, the hayride is first come first serve, the carriage ride you should reserve in advance, i will have a pic of the carriage soon and think that a family of 4 or 5 should fit.

We were thinking of taking a private carriage ride next month at FW. We will have our 22 month old daughter with us. Has anyone taken their young children on this ride? If so, would you recommend this ride for the 3 of us?

I have a carriage ride reserved for 6:00, before the 7:15 Hoop de Doo show. THe ride lasts 30 minutes and you must reserve in advance. I'll let you know how it was when I get back.
