What's on your checklist for preparing to do the CP? I figured this type of thread would be helpful because one of us might see something that we should be doing ourselves!

My checklist:

- meet with career services about credit
- sign up for a Spring 2010 online class
- apply for Fall 2010 admission to the university I want to transfer to so I won't have to worry about this on the CP
- fill out the FAFSA for Spring 2010
- go ahead and research about transferring scholarships so I won't have to worry about this on the CP
- figure out when I need to quit my job in order to the CP
- find out if my job will let my return seasonly
- finish all roadtrip/arrival plans
- roommate notification
- shop for apartment :)
- make sure car/health insurance will be set straight
- get my car all checked out in January before driving down to Florida in attempts to prevent all unwanted car failures
- decide which CP classes I want to take
- possibly go ahead and fill out the FAFSA for Fall 2010 if it lets you do this that early
- find out when all deadlines are for scholarships/admission/general college deadlines

I'll be transferring from a community college to a 4-year school next fall so I would really like to get a head start on admissions and all that before the CP. I don't want to have to worry about that down in Florida, and I don't want to wait until the last minute and have to stress about it next summer.

I wasn't planning on taking any classes with Disney but I was thinking about an online class or two. I'm wondering how much time we'll really have to focus on schoolwork though. Does anyone have any experience with that? I know we'll be working a ton of hours and interacting a lot with people I'm sure so I don't want to overdo it.

I'm not taking any online classes either. I am taking a leave of absence from Penn State since I will not get credit for this program. I am taking 12 credits from the CMU for the program in order to stay under my parents insurance. I mainly have to tie up loose ends at work and school and get packing!
