if anyone is interested in more information, feel free...
we're here now and enjoying it immensely...
this is our first time off property in over 10 years.....
i was worried about doing it, but this place is heavenly....

I would LOVE to hear more info about the villas and the resort in general.

Thanks and have a great time!

We stayed there several times and loved it. The best pool I have ever seen.

Clarifications needed:

Is this the Sunterra Cypress Point Grand Villas.

Is there a website for this?

What did you pay and where did you get that price.

Thanks,

this is part of the Hyatt Grand Cypress Resort...
however the villas are completely separate.....
3 miles away from the hyatt hotel....
in complete seclusion...
in the middle of the jack nicklaus designed golf course...
guests at the villas can use the pool at the hyatt as well as the boats there (no charge for the boats - sail, canoe, kayak, pedal)....
however, the villas have their own pool as well...
bicycles are also available (at no charge).....
the resort is 1500 acres so there's plenty of space for riding....
and speaking of riding, there's an english equestrian center as well as a western center.....(trail rides and lessons available for a fee)...
the work out room is also free of charge...
and for tennis and golf fiends, there are tennis and golf schools....
i had no idea what to expect, but it's beyond our expectations...
and the staff is highly professional and extremely friendly....(and service is in the blink of an eye.....when you call, the doorbell rings almost before you hang up the phone)....
we definitely will stay here again....

hi...
I would be very interested in any description of the rooms themselves...layout, decor, etc.

Also, a ballpark figure on the cost would be great.

Thanks for the info!

How long does it take you to get to the Walt Disney World? I had looked into staying there but was unsure how long it would take us to get to the parks.
thanks,

by car from the villas you are right at the back door (unmarked) entrance to WDW)...
you are just as close or closer than the hotels that are on disney property....
if you don't have a car, there's a bus but i don't know how that works....we rent a car...

as for cost....it's the equivalent of the disney villas but you get more for your money.....a 2 bedroom that's about 1300 sq ft (with kitchen and living room and 2 bedrooms) is about $400.....
depending on season and length of stay....
they've dropped their prices significantly....the same villa was twice that amount last year.....i think it's the post 9-11 effect...
