Garden Grocer Question

I saw somewhere that GG does deliver alcoholic beverages, just wondering how you find out the price of such items? Just email GG and ask? I am tentatively thinking of making an order, but since we are on the DP, I am not sure what I would really need to buy - some milk and stuff, but then thought, if the beer was not too crazy it might be worth buying some from there. Ahs anyone done this and if so, can I ask what you paid for the beer? Thanks

We have not done it, but wish we had as beer was really expensive at WDW. :rolleyes: I would suggest you call Garden Grocer; their number is 866-865-4350; they can probably give you an idea of what the pricing would be.

Well, I have never shopped at Garden Grocer but I think I saw somewhere on the board that they have a web-site on which you can place your order. I would imagine that means prices, etc.

Send them an e-mail telling what you would like to shop for - they will call you back with an estimated price. I have not use them for alcohol - just groceries so far - they were great. My understanding is that the beer prices are basically what you pay at the liquor store- a far cry from the $15 sixpack available at the resort stores.

No, you don't. Bell services can receive it for you, no problem :thumbsup2.

I heard that you could order beer. I ordered already for our upcoming trip, I wonder if I could call and add beer? I report back when I find out.

We ordered beer from GG. Just call or email them and let them know what kind of beer, cans or bottles, and in what quantity and they will call/email the price to you.

They will ask you to fax a copy of your drivers license to them in advance and then bell services will deliver to your room. Believe me, it is MUCH cheaper to order alcohol from GG than at Disney. We didn't order enough drinks for our 10 day stay and every time Jeff and I went to the resort bar it was $12 for two Miller Lite's.

One other GG tip, don't wait too long to order. The closer you get to your trip, the less chance you have of getting your order on the day/time you want it. They can only do so many each day and if you wait too long you may not be able to have your delivery on your first day.
