no dumb questions? how much is the movie popcorn?

I know it's a petty question but I just read that there are no dumb questions so here it is. How much is the popcorn at the movies? Ive read about getting room service for a snack and taking that to the movies. However, you still need to tip the server. So how much is the popcorn?

Believe it or not they do not serve popcorn at the movies (at least not when we went in January '02 and Oct '01) I think that is why so many suggest getting a room service snack. We brought along small baggies and TeddyGrahams and CheezIts for movie snacks. I always filled up the soda mugs too before going to the movies or a show. They did sell snacks before the shows and if I remember correctly they were candy, chips (maybe even bagged popcorn now that I think of it and have shared all the other info.:rolleyes: ) Have fun!!!!!

they did sell bagged popcorn outside the theatre and it was cheaper than at the store..i think it was1.25 a bag. i was on the magic april 19th and i had the cheese popcorn and my husband had the plain. another time we ordered the cheese tray and took it with us...it was a good idea..yummy
