Hi, we'll be staying at the world in September. Sep 15 - 27 to be exact, and we are wondering who has the best deal for a mini-van or a vehicle that will hold 4 adults and two kids.
Any ideas? Please post any coupon codes if you have them . Thanks

Well I hope this is good, but I just reserved a "minivan" on Dollar's site with the "entertain" coupon code and it cost $460 for the 2 week rental ($570 with all those b.s. taxes). Is that good? (It would have been $845 w/o taxes w/o the coupon)?
Sounds good but I really don't do car rentals that often ..... Anyone?

Use dollar again and the code MCC. You owe me some $$$$.

WOW thanks so much! Please tell me what that "MCC" rate is - I'm not going to have to show them some kind of ID or anything am I? I just don't want to get stuck paying full rate when I get there. You are the greatest! That's going to save me around $50 or $60 ! YA !!

From what I read in other threads here, it is just one of those "if you know enough to enter the code, then you can use it" codes.
No need to show anything when you get there. Do you have the entertain card. I would book with MCC and if they give you a hard time, pull out your entertain card and you still get the previous rate.
But, from what I have seen, no need for anything when you get there.
Have a great vacation....

We just used the FISH code to get a minivan for 209 per week from Dollar (plus taxes.) Bear in mind that it seems that Dollar is charging extra lately if you want, or need, the Extended length minivan. We were charged 3.50 per day extra for the longer van, I have heard others here being charged up to 10.00 per day. Oh, they don't ask for any coupons with the FISH code. In fact the agent commented on what a good rate it was...

This may sound crazy, but....
12 days rental might be substantially more expensive than two consecutive one-week rentals. Based on my experience with the longer vacations, there seems to be a rental car rate "trip wire" once you go beyond seven days. That 8th day (and so on) seem to have a premium daily cost. I'm guessing that the rental companies project that the renter will take the vehicle on an extended trip when the lease period gets longer.
If you can't find a good 12 day price, see if you can get a better deal on a 7-day price. It may even be worth the hassle of dealing with two consecutive rental contracts. (Then again, maybe not!!)
Happy Hunting,
