Hi everyone, what a fab site, that i have just found.

Well we are off to DLP 22nd October for 3 nights 4 days, we are staying at the sequoia lodge lakeside room and we have the plus food option.

We have booked the mickeys not so scary halloween party for the friday the 23rd and we have also booked the buffal bill show.

The last time i was at DLP was 8 years ago, and im sure it will have changed loads, im so looking forward to it. I just have a few questions, i hope someone will be able to answer.

My son is mad on winnie the pooh, where would i find him there.

Should i book the meals before i go.

Can we take drinlks and snacks into the park.

how would we get to the eiffel tower from DLP.

Thnaks in advance, so excited really cant wait.

there is a scheduled winnie the pooh meet and greet in fantasyland. Check the schedule when you get in the park for the times, and be prepared to queue early, there's always a sizeable queue for him.

should i book the meals before i go.
any weekends are busy so it might be an idea - but presumably one evening meal is already booked for bb.

can we take drinlks and snacks into the park.
not officially, but yes.

how would we get to the eiffel tower from dlp.
you can catch a train from the station at dlrp. There are threads on here about visiting paris if you do a search. Alternatively dlrp do offer an evening excursion i think which you could book.

Thanks for the reply, yes we have a meal with BB so wont have to worry about that night, i spose the voucher for that night, we could use for lunch instead.

The first night i think we will eat at the hotel, so it will just be one other night, will probs have a look round and see what we fancy.

Thanks for info on winnie the pooh, thats great he is winnie the pooh mad.

We will take some drinks and snacks in the park, in my big bag, so should be ok.

Also ive heard you can buy things in the shop and they can deliver to your hotel, how does that work then.

Thanks again, its great having this so we can all ask questions and get answers.

You just show you hotel ID pass & ask at the beginning of the transaction that you want it delivered to you hotel. If its after a certain time it will be delivered the next day. Failing that you can collect at the end of the day from that shop if thats the case.

All purchases go to the hotel shop to collect. You may get to see Winnie the Pooh at your hotel at the meet & greet. It will show you which character is attending & at what time, it would be less of a queue.

Have a great trip:thumbsup2

Hi

Thanks for the reply, you seam like such a friendly bunch.

So excited now, really looking forward to it, forgot to ask is there rides that you can get pictures off, if so what ones, we always like to get a couple for keep sakes, we live right near thorpe park and chezzington and still buy the odd picture, so funny to look back on in years to come.

We have upgraded to a montana lakeside room, does anyone know what these are like, i know we are not going to be in room much, but seamed like a good idea at the time of booking.

Also we have 2 children a 16 year old and 7 year old, any views on best way to spend the days in the park, dont want us split up the whole day while one goes on one thing, and the other goes with the other one, iykwim.
But i spose that is how it will have to be,, otherwise lots of waiting around.

Thanks all again, and thanks for the welcome.

Of the top of my head: Buzz, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain in the main park & in the Studios: Rock n Rollercoaster & ToT

Pretty much the same as the lodges except they are in the main building meaning you don't have to go outside to get to breakfast. The rooms have 2 double beds & you will get a view of the lake

Best having a look at the Disney website & seeing what rides your children would be interested in & go from there

Thanks all again, and thanks for the welcome.

Hope that helps:thumbsup2
