I am planning to stay onsite at universal in RPH on December 6-8. I would like to get entertainment rate but haven't bought book yet. Do I have to have the book to call and ask if the rooms are still available at this time? Plus, when I went to the website and looked at my local book for Jackson, MS it didn't include any universal hotels on its lists. Can anyone help me I am confused.

Thanks,
Alena

I have never been asked for the number on my Entertainment Membership Card when making a hotel reservation, and I have made several reservations at different hotels for entertainment rates. I have been asked to show it at check in, however. That said, I have not attempted to use it at the RPH.

I have made my reservations getting the Entertainment rate and I didn't have the card at the time. You just need it at the time of check in. Even though the hotels are not in the book they are still valid. I got the Entertainment rate for RPH this Aug (8/1-8/3) at $99 pn standard view. The Hard Rock isn't listed either but they do have Entertainment rates, most Loews hotels have Entertainment rates, you just have to ask, they just go fast so make your reservation ASAP (fyi, they are now charging your cc one night deposit, its a new policy, last year they didn't charge until you actually checked in. . .) I stayed at HRH last year in Aug. and in Dec., the same procedure, I called and got a reservation with the Entertainment rate and then I bought the book. Any book is valid, they all come with the card which is actually what you need. HTH! ;)

You can also go to hotels.com and it will give you a complete listing of hotels you get at discounted rates with entertainment card-along with the prices and availability.
