The trailer looks great - my greatest worry is this movie will be too maudlin - with Andy growing up and leaving the Toys behind...I trust Pixar, though, who are 10 for 10 in my book to date. Name another movie studio that has gone 10 for 10, ever. Somehow, you know it will lead to a happy ending for Woody, Buzz and the gang. (Hopefully not in a toy museum either!)
And, don't get me wrong, I love Toy Story and am looking forward to this, but I am a little bummed that we have to wait 3 years for another original Pixar story. With Toy Story 3 in 2010, and Cars 2 bumped up to 2011...that's way to long to wait. Their recent original stuff like Up, WALL-E, and Ratatouille were so brilliant, it feels a bit like this is the first step backwards for Pixar. (Ratatouille is not considered by many to be that great, but DD loves this movie, and I have seen it dozens of times now, and like all the Pixar movies, it gets better with repeat viewing.) Regardless of quality, sequels generally have a law of diminshing returns past Part 2...as they tend to feel like more of the same. (What happened to newt, the original 2011 release...I heard nothing of it in recent announcement. And is The Bear and the Bow still a 2011 release?)
Sorry, I went OT a bit.

Hi skier pete,
I agree with you. I like all Pixar's movies. Up was one of their best. If Pixar gets stuck on doing too many sequels, it may cheapen their name. The neat thing about Pixar was that all of their movies are so unique. Oh well. We will see how it goes. I bet they will do a great job either way.

Toy Story is my favorite, it's the first bit of magic Pixar made for the big screen. I cannot wait for this movie. :)
