Codes for Thanksgiving?

Hi all!! I'm in the process of planning a totally surprise trip to Disney for my family, including DH-lol! We've already been this year but we have AP's so of course they're giving me the perfect excuse to go again! :p

Right now we have ressies at the Hotel Royal Plaza with mousesavers code for 85.00 a night, 475.00 total for 5 nights. I'm hoping that maybe we could worm our way on property with a code though, since this is a budget trip and I've never stayed at the HRP.

What are the chances of a AP, DC or any code coming out that will be valid for over Thanksgiving?

Hi Hallie,

We had a great code rate last Thanksgiving so I'd bet your chances are pretty good. Everyone is anticipating AP rates to come out for Oct - Dec anytime between now and the beginning of August.

How soon before the trip are you going to surprise them?

I'm going to wait until we get in the car-:p I'm so excited I feel like a little kid at Christmas-lol. They think that we're going to my parent's house in PA. I figure I can pack their shorts and stuff at the end of the summer and just hide them away together. I guess i'll have to let DH pack his stuff for PA and then switch the suitcase or something, haven't figured it all out yet.

There are usually no AP discounts for Oct-Dec. I think last year was an exception since travel was way down.

I have DC rates (20% off) at PO-FQ for Thanksgiving week, but I booked them months ago when the DC rates first came out.
