I lost my list of previous postings on HHI restaurants! DH and I are interested mainly in casual and open in the winter time. We live in a coastal vacation area with tourists already so a winter visit previously was perfect for us, however a number of places were seasonally closed.

We love seafood casual- a total dive is just fine.;) No tablecloths needed or wanted. Good pizza and deli will also be desired.

Any recommendations are very much appreciated! Any experiences in staying during this off season at the resort would be a plus. :thumbsup2

We've been to HHI in November, February, and March, and the only resturaunts we've ever found closed (November and February only) were Scotts Fish Market in Shelter Cove and Waterfront Cafe in Harbourtown. We went to Guissepi's Pizza one February and were surprised at how busy it was. For good seafood with no atmosphere, try Sea Shack. We also used to like Captain's Seafood, but we haven't been to that one since they moved several years ago.

Best deli is Gruby's New York Deli, located in the Fresh Market strip mall.

Signe's is good for breakfast.

There is the Brick Oven Pizza place in the Office Park Plaza is very nice indeed.

Beyond that, ask Mike the Pool guy.

We are always happy with the Grill at the resort. Specially if Joyce is cooking.
