It looks really close to EPCOT. Can you walk? If not, how long does the bus take to EPCOT, MK? Thanks.

You cannot walk to any park from CBR. Yes, its close to Epcot and to MGM but WDW doesn't recommend walking -- your resort is off of a busy street.

The buses take no longer than 20 minutes to get to the parks. Eash resort has its own bus system, so you are not stopping at other resorts.

CBR is a little under a half mile from BoardWalk where you can get to Epcot and the MGM entrance. Nevertheless, walking is not allowed outside the resorts in the main traffic areas. What you have there outside CBR is a six lane highway that has no sidewalks running along it and you would have to walk along and across it to get to Epcot. Security stops people who attempt it to inform them it is not allowed.

Even if they allowed it, you wouldn't want to do it.

It's much farther than it looks on the map!

As everyone has said --- don't even think about walking because it is too dangerous and you will be stopped by security. CBR is close to Epcot....but to the back of World Showcase. The buses will bring you around to the main entrance to Epcot.

However, CBR is close enough that you can see some of the fireworks at night. :)

We always watch the fireworks from CBR at night (at least when we're not at the parks watching them!! You get a good view, especially from OPR. The ducks generally come and watch with you too, while asking politely for a bit of your snacks :)

No need to walk - Disney Transportation is fast, efficient and.. most importantly on certain days, air conditioned!

Well, I guess you "could" walk, if you really wanted to, but the Disney people will DEFINITELY frown upon it, as you will be crossing highway that is not marked for pedestrian traffic. Also, it is a bit farther than it looks, so why waste energy walking to the park, that you might need later walking IN the park? The busses are bad, at all!
