We've done the regular dining plan several times but I don't think we'll get our monies worth now that DD is 12 (adult)but prefers "kid" food. After loads of research over the many years we were always able to get the best bang for our buck on the dining plan.
I'm looking at the QS plan for this year and would like recommendations on how best to maximize it. Because I prefer to be waited on and enjoy a glass of vino with dinner we would most likely not use QS for all but one or two of our evening meals. Besides, because I wasn't going to go the dining plan route, I have already decided on a few restaurants for dinner that we've missed because they were OOP places.
So, if had the QS dining plan for 7 days, how would you best max it? We'll do each park for one day, DTD one day, the pool/resort (BWV) one day, and the last day is a toss-up.
Thanks DIS friends:)

So are you using QS for breakfast and lunch and OOP for dinner? or are you on the DDP? I would love to help with suggestions but not quite clear on this. :)

Yes, OOP for dinner (could just be apps and cocktails some nights if the lunch holds us) and QS for the other two meals. Thanks, Brenda

Your other option is to just let your DD order a kid's meal which you would pay OOP and save her adult TS dining credit for other meals or possibly a signature restaurant.

Some of the QS places we like include Wolfgang Puck's Express (DTD), Flame Tree Barbeque (AK), Columbia Harbour House (MK) or El Pirata y el Perico (MK) {The fixings bar lets you make your own salad exactly how you like it - a plus in my book} and Tangierine Cafe (Epcot). These all offer hearty portions and decent food in my opinion.
If you are looking for a burger we like Cosmic Rays (MK).
We tend to not eat breakfast but use snack credits but I am sure someone else will have ideas.
Hope this helps some. :)

Well, that's an idea too! We could try some of those 2 TS credit restaurants that we never splurge on... I'll have to take a look at the menus. She enjoys dressing up and dining out but doesn't like real food (and at this rate it's pretty unlikely that's going to change anytime soon):confused3
