When do we start paying dues on BCV?

I elected to pay my dues in January--not in my monthly payments.

I want to start saving the money.

Do we owe from July-Dec, since that is when they opened?

For the first year, you will owe from your 2002 use year month to Dec.

I think, regardless of the use year, you owe the dues from July 1 to end of the year. I have a December use year and that was what my guide told me. However, it will be great if I owe only 1 month due this year. I also confirmed it with Disney's Quality Assurance people.

Just to clarify:

Dues are calculated on the basis of calendar year. It doesn't matter when your use year is (except for the first year). If you elected to pay your dues in a lump sum, the 2003 dues will be due sometime in January, 2003. That will be for the 2003 calendar year.

It is true that for the first year of your membership dues are prorated. IIRC, we paid those at closing.

FOR BVC - If you are paying monthly, it is either July 1 or your use month, whichever is later. This is what we're doing

For yearly it would also be that same total amount of dues, but I believe it would be due at closing.
