Hi, just a few quick questions on our family visit planned on 13th OCT.

I have booked eurostar and the hotel Cheyenne separately.
Due to be there in the early afternoon but wanted to know how I can get into the parks right away without checking in first. Can we still get the express luggage service ? Is it worth it ? How do we get the tickets for the park if we do this ?

Also we change train on the way back so can we still use the luggage service ?

We get free meals but I guess we don't need to book anything as it's fairly off peak. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Any other tips would be great. Family comprises 2 adults, child aged 5 and infant aged 2.

If you booked your hotel through Disney you'll be able to pay for the Express service, and will then be given your tickets either at the station or on the train. You still have to take your luggage to the Express desk in the station at Marne la Vallee and collect it from there so changing trains won't make any difference.
Nobody really knows at the moment what will happen with the Free dining as it is so new, but we assume it will make the restaurants busier. Depending on where you are eating it may be better to book, eg somewhere like Cafe Mickey is very busy in the evenings.

Thanks. How do I book express luggage if I paid already ? Any idea on cost ?

Also can I book restaurants when there or is there a better way as not sure what time we will be eating everyday but it will be before 6.30pm in evenings.

Is 5 days too long to go for or can I spread out everything nicely so I'm not rushed everyday ?

Phone Disney to add it to your booking. Not sure of the exact cost now but approx £14 per adult.
5 days isn't too long, you can be relaxed about stuff instead of rushing round.
You can book restaurants with your hotel concierge or at City Hall when you are there, or you can book in advance on the dining reservation number which will be found in the useful info sticky. Certain restaurants need a reservation such as the Chuck Wagon at the Cheyenne Hotel, or get very busy such as Cafe Mickey.

There is lots of great Halloween stuff to see on your trip, and I'd agree, with 5 days in the parks you'll be able to take your time :).

Thanks for the wam welcome and the advice so far.

Will I need to book in advance for our first day there and also since we are staying at the Cheyenne, do we need to book breakfast daily and where are the closest and best places to have breakfast since we may be rushed with our young ones. Ideally need cereal for them.

Your breakfast is included in the restaurant at the Cheyenne hotel, in the price you've paid for the Cheyenne, every morning. Its a buffet continental breakfast, including cereals. When you check in at your hotel, you'll get a choice of what breakfast slot you want each morning. Anything after 8am and you'll be queueing for everything, for a table, for the breakfast buffet, for the hot and cold drinks etc etc etc. Regardless of what time slot you get, aim to get to breakfast no later than about 7.30am - this really really does make it a much more pleasant experience :).
To be honest, I don't really know what the breakfast slot cards are for at the Santa Fe and Cheyenne, as everyone just seems to please themselves what time they head for breakfast anyway :rotfl: (hence the queues after 8am).

If you're not planning on eating at Cafe Mickey on your first day, you could just go with what you fancy, and make a reservation sometime in the day at City Hall in the main park, for whichever restaurant you want that evening. I would recommend always booking in advance for Cafe Mickey, even if its only done in the morning, for dinner later that day.

If you want to eat in the Cheyenne's restaurant in the evening you will need to book as they only seat reservations now. It may be as well to book the first night but to be honest having never stayed at the Cheyenne I'm not the best person to advise you on how busy that restaurant gets.
For breakfast it will be included and when you check into the Cheyenne they will let you choose a time slot, and in theory you are supposed to come to breakfast within that time slot. Breakfast will be in the restaurant, and there will be plenty of choice for the children including cereal, rolls, croissants etc

If we don't get the Disney express luggage then would we have to go to the hotel and wait till check in at 3pm before we get our tickets for the park ?

Don't want a lot of hassle when we get there fingers crossed. Also on our way back i guess we can leave our luggage somewhere in the hotel and pick it up before departure without the luggage service ?

Also does anyone know the transfer time from station to the hotel Cheyenne? I guess u can also get a transfer direct from parks too ?

Hi. You can check into the hotel at any time on the day of arrival. If your room isn't ready, you'll be given your tickets to the park, and can leave your luggage at the hotel.

I'd strongly reccommend the Disney Express service though, it's 15.00 per adult and worth it. Your luggage will be taken from the station to the hotel, and on the day you're leaving from the hotel to the station.

The bus only takes about 5 minutes between the hotel and parks, or if it's nice you could take a leisurely stroll about 15 - 20 minutes?

Sounds like a really nice time to go - wish it was me!

Have fun:thumbsup2
