Just thought I would get some opinions, here.

We may find a pattern depending on the responses and that should really help first timers, etc.

San Angel in Mexico. I love Mexican food, but have eaten here 4 times (including past year), and I'm through. Each time I go back saying "one more chance, hopefully others were a fluke".
We've had bland food and rude service each time.

Boma dinner - not awful, but too many "flavors of Africa" type foods for us

I have three places, 1900 PF dinner, Raglan Road and Nine Dragons...the food was just terrible at all three places.

I just don't think that Sci Fi has good food at all... I don't even think that it is worth the atmosphere either but I think I am in the minority on the Atmosphere front!

Also thought Boma had too much sweet food.. guess I am a savory dinner kinda gal!

Grand Floridian Cafe :( Ate there in previous years and it was wonderful, nicely presented and tasty food, good service, also the restaurant didn't seem to be as much as a 'zoo' as some of the other 1 TS restaurants - then we returned this year, talk about a complete reversal :scared1: restaurant was packed (and I mean packed solid), 30 minute wait for our table, lots and lots of unsupervised children (don't get me wrong I love children, but this was crazy) - it seemed a number of parents didn't care what their children were up to as long as they were not interferring with their own meals,an example was letting your child roll around on the floor so much so the servers had to step over him whilst they were carrying plates of hot food (!), food not so great, I felt so sorry for our server, nice young lady, but had way too many tables to serve. Based on this very disappointing visit I'm afraid I won't be going back next year.

Chef Mickey's. It was our first time and we were all underwhelmed. My 4 year old loved seeing the characters, but we saw Mickey at breakfast at the Tusker House, and that was much better.

We thought the Sci-fi food was awful. We also didn't like too much at Chef Mickey's.

The food at our dinner at Sci-Fi was disgusting. It was the worst waste of a TS credit, and disappointed me soooo much.

It would have to be a tie....Rose and Crown or Raglan Road. Ate at both last week and would rather have popcorn for dinner than eat at either again. Service was ok but the food was not great. As in 'frozen dinner' not great.

There are so many choices for this distinction I don’t know where to start.

Breakfast
I would say Ohana - Runny Powdered Eggs - IMO

Dinner
I would say Chef Mickey’s - Everything was awful and the characters were not that interested is visiting for long if you were not buying the Photos - IMO

I agree with the San Angel Inn in the Mexico Pavilion. We ate there after we got married and had to wait for 30 minutes (after the time of our ADR), were squished into a small corner, which was crowded and the service wasn't terrible, but unremarkable for being Disney, and the prices were outrageous considering the food was simply average. The atmosphere was Ok, however, it was a little dark for my liking.

Whispering Canyon.
The skillet full of cold gristly meat was gross!! Don't they think to trim inches of fat off? Barbeque sauce does not hide it:scared1:

It's a toss up between Raglan Road and Chef Mickey's. Didn't like either one.

Yak & Yeti. My husband now calls is "Yack & Yucky." The food was really gross & the service was the worst that we've ever had at any restaurant, ever.

This wasn't the question, but I'd like to add some of our most positive experiences too:
*Best service was from our chef and our waiter at Liberty Tree Tavern (The chef really went above and beyond to meet the needs of the person in our group w/ allergies.)
*Best food= DH would say Biergarten; I would say Le Cellier.

The food at Chef Mickey's left a lot to be desired but the character interactions for us were amazing. Pluto actually had my son under the table crawling around with him and he loved it. Each time we have eaten there the food has been so so but the characters - great. We have only eaten breakfast there.

I didn't like the food at the Lilo & Stitch breakfast either but the kids love the characters so once again I am sucking it up.

Thank goodness for free dining or I would be in tears ! :sad1:

I read above the crappy food at Yak & Yeti's ... we thought it was quite tasty actually.

Where do I begin? Food quality has gone down, while cost has increased dramatically. Whispering Canyon Cafe was just plain gross, my whole family did not care for their food, and the dessert was even worse! It seems that alot of the restaurants are offering the exact same food.

It's a toss-up between Boatwright's and Sci-Fi Dine In. The food at Sci-Fi was worse (Boatwright's was simply boring), but it at least had a fun atmosphere.
