After a week-long hunt, I finally found a "pool noodle" (even though it's almost October)!
I wish I had thought to buy one in the summer, when you could buy them at dollar stores. But I didn't even think about buying one until the end of September, and finally found one at a small sporting goods store. I've been trying places like discount stores and toy stores, but no luck.
Once the summer clearance stuff was gone from our local stores (I live in Washington State, so it's definitely fall weather), I figured it was a lost cause. But I called my local Big 5 Sporting Goods, and they found one in the back storage room for me. Yay!
