Hi guys,

I'm not sure if I asked this before but oh well I'll give it another go!

I'm about 95% complete in regard to organising my December Disney trip :cool1:

However, I'm not sure we are covered fully when it comes to our flight and Eurostar? At the moment i have only taken out the Disney insurance which I added to our booking (silly I know, but I can't get a refund nows :sad1:).

I don't know if this is sufficient cover for the entire trip? Has anyone else taken the Disney insurance option? I think most importantly is that it covers the medical side of things etc. which I think it does :confused3 Should I consider insurance cover with another reliable provider as well just in case? :confused3

we had also taken disney insurance

however when i showed it to my friend who works in a travel agents , they were a bit confused about it , as it doesnt give much info , and it only seems to cover accomodation and some medical

we ended up taking out insurance as well thr the travel agent which covers transport, medical , delays, lost luggage, passport etc

they really need a clearer document re what their insurance covers

:cool1:

Hi manxtatt2,

Yes, exactly what I was thinking! I received it in email with my confirmation letter and I was like 'Is that it?!' And its with a company in Paris I haven't heard of which isn't too reassuring either.

I think like yourself, I will take out another insurance just in case!

I'm no expert by any means but I would guess your flight/Eurostar would only be covered if it was booked through Disney.

If you're from the UK don't forget to take your EHIC card (formerly E111) which covers much of the medical stuff but you'll still need insurance as it doesn't cover everything.

I see you've already tried unsuccessfully to get a refund on the insurance however I think if I were you, I would still take out further insurance, just for peace of mind.
