My trip was from Sept 5th thur Sept 18th, staying at Pop century from Sept 10th thur Sept 18th:banana::cool1:
I have a PTR see link at bottom of post.


The cast of this trip is my DH, my DD#1 and my grandson. and me:goodvibes

My DH (Dave) is my best friend, he has worked as a mechanic for over 30 years, we just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary, he enjoys our WDW trips and is proud of the money I save.

My DD#1(Corri) is a beautiful young lady who worked very hard to do the right thing, She is a wonderful mother and is looking forward to riding the rides this time as she was 6 1/2 months PG when we went in 2006, her favorite character is The little green alien from Toy story.

My GS( Landen) is 2 1/2 and has been raised on MIckey Mouse, He is very smart( of course) he thinks the castle is Mickey House. He loves the Cars movie and Walle and just got into Peter Pan.

ME I'm 54 . I work as a one hour photo tech and cashier for a local drug store chain. I LOVE all things Disney especially Mickey Mouse, I always wanted to go to WDW and was finally able to so in 2006, and thought that would be the only time an can't believe that i'm got go again.

All my reader need to be fair warmed that I am not the best speller so please bear with me.


when we 1st started planning this trip we where going to fly, but i could not find airfare I could afford, so we decided to drive which meant a rental car, we had planned to leave on Wed Sept 9th after work and drive straight thru but with Corri being out of work we decide to leave on Sat Sept 5th and spend some time at the beach and Sea World.

So let the trip begin:dance3::cheer2::dance3:

On Friday nite (9/6) we finished our packing. i had made autograph books for my GS an my friend Rosie's GS but when I check my packing I could not find the ones I had made for GS:scared1:, I looked every where and torn the house apart, DH asked me where i had seen the last, I had taken them to work to show them to my friends I thought I brought them home DH took me to work and the where there:woohoo:
I had a hard time sleeping, I was SOO excited to get going on our trip.
We got up early and did our morning things and we where at DD house at 8:00a.m. DH and DD went to pick up the rental car, not quite sure what kind we where getting.
Corri used to work for Hertz and her old boss said she give her the best deal she could:woohoo:I stayed with GS, he got a package from Mickey, with my pal mickey in it and a postcard saying," to fun at the beach and he see him "real soon" DD got back with the car it was Chevy Equinox ,silver in color, it was nice with lots of room:yay:Dave had to stop at our house to pick up my medicine, I have to take a shot for my bones every day and i had forgotten it in refrigerator. We stated to packed the car, we had 2 suitcases 1 rolling duffel bag, 1 duffle bag, 1 stoller, 1 cooler,1 box pull ups, bag of toys, bag of snakes,plus a few misc, things. we got it all but could not see out the back. Our #2 DD (Kylie) an SIL (Josh) stop to say goodbye, This make me sad as I had wanted the whole family to be able to go to WDW, but it was not possible at this time.
We let Corri house at 10:50 a.m. the GPS saying we will arrive at Pops at 2:06 a.m.:cheer2::cool1:

Crossed over in to west virginia at 1:25 pm . 137 miles from home. I feeling a little sick to my stomach
(car sick?) David is driving, we decide to stop at McDonald in Kamma WV went to drug store, got some pepto,hard candy,and dramamine, Feeling better since we ate. I 'msitting up front now, that seem to help the car sick. The mountains of WV are beautiful. Went thur 2 tunnels.Got gas $37.25, Corri s driving now crossed into Virginna at 4:30 p.m. Laden is being very good, watching DVD, and getting the idea of "car presents" Crossed into South carolina at about 8:00 p.m i seemed to have missed what time we crossed into North Carolina, It about 11:00 p.m.decideed to find a place to sleep. everyone is tired and Landen is sleeping stopped at a rest stop got a motel book, heading toward Orangeburg SC, found room, Southern lodge. $59.99 We did not take any thing out of car but pullup for Landen.

Not a very excited day BUT we are on our way and each mile gets us closer to Mickey house.
I having some problems getting my pictures to my computer, they are on CD and I can't get them to load up so I can get them to photo bucket so this time no pictures
I did take lots of Pictures:yay::woohoo:2 chips full about 1600 pic and have 313 on my photo pass, before editing,

We got Up about 6:15 am and after a quick clean up we went to complientary breakfast provided by the hotel:banana:
They had a good varirty of things, including fresh cooked belgian waffels, that Landen and I shared.
We had not taken very much into the room only some things for Landen not much to pack up:thumbsup2


We had one little problem the night before, Landen had fallen asleep about 930 p.m on the drive down, it was about 12:30 p.m, that we got the room. While I was resgisting for the room, he had woken up and was crying and confused. We thought that when we got settled in the room he would be O.K. in the room he Just kept crying and saying he wanted to go home, did not want to sleep there. We told him "we going to Mickey house" NO I want to go home he keep saying, he cried for about 45 mintues, It was the Loogest time. Finally he fell into a exhausted sleep in Corri arms. I thought to my self maybe this was not the best idea, maybe I had pushed this trip to much, and maybe it would have been better to waited until he was a little older.
But in to morning he was he usual happy self:yay:
We got some gas across the street from our hotel $32.75
On rode to FLORIDA at 6:50 a.m.
At 7:10 we on I-95 228 miles to St Augustine I did not realize that when we stopped we where that close to I-95
Crossed in to Georgia at 8:05 the red clay is very pretty here. We have seen constution but have not be delayed:goodvibes

Arrived in FLORDIA at 9:55 a.m.:woohoo::yay::woohoo::yay:
Stopped at the Flordia Welcome Center, Where surprise to feel the heat as we got out the car at welcome center. it was a big change in temp from when we got in the car in South Carolina.
We got our free OJ and they also had free grapefruit juice, pick up some brochures on St, Augustine, Orlando, Sea World. And even got a time schedule for WDW:woohoo: also got motel guide for Florida.

Landen got a Sponge Bob ice creme, Thanks Poppa.
Headed to St Augustine, The day was so bright and sunny, it is so different from a sunny day in Ohio. everything so shinny and clean. the colors of the sky and tree sseem to be more vidid, Guess I was just soo excited to be that much closer to My friend Mickey:yay:

We check the motel guide and find these that we decide to check out, Anastasia Inn, St Augustine , Ocean Inn and Ocean Sands.
As we get to St Augustine and get on the main road we find there are lots of motel so we just drive trying to get some idea, explaining to Landen that we are looking for our house to stay at so he won't be upset tonite like last night, He ask if we can go to a playground we tell will try to find a house with a playground or if not we will take him to one. Corri tells him that there might be pool, and this makes him happy.

We drive over a BIG bridge, This is the brige that take you to the inter coastal highway, we find we actually in Vilano Beach an all along the road we can see the OCEAN and big beautiful beach homes, the GPS says weare close to Ocean Sands, so we just it out, $ 55.00 a night, they said it will be a while before a room will be ready so we said we get some lunch and be back, as we are driving we decide to pull off and check out the Ocean. (see the picture) there is hardy any one there. We drive a little farther and come to Vilano beach pier, there are some hotel/ motel here some big ones, but there this one older tourist hotel with the big pink flamgio painted on the buildings it was really cute, Corri and really liked it, so she went to get a price, but all full. after all it was labor day weekend, but we could get a room tommorrow, a room with a kitchen on Monday for $35.00.
We decide to go back to Ocean Sands and we get a room on the 2nd floor (remember this for day 4) the hotel is nice the is very clean and they have a nice pool and there is just a road betwen the hotel and beach /ocean.

We decide to go get lunch, Landen says he wants hot dogs, so we look on the GPS for fast food. hot dogs, and sure enought there a place call "Hot Digitty Dogs" in St, Augustine, so over the brige we go and we pass a park with a playgroung and a carsousal. and the hot dog place is near:thumbsup2 We follow the GPS direction and it say "arriving at destation" BUT we don't see and hot dog place:confused3
So we park at the 'Old jailhose' there are tour that leave here to show you St Augustine. and walk across the street to see if we can find the HOT DOG place, no one seem to have heard of it , But tell us of a different one and it just a few blocks away. so off we go, We get Hot doys and french fries with chesse. and go to playground for lunch. We tell Landen if he eats his lunch good he can play for awhile at the playground. we eat and play for awhile. when it time to leave I give Landen and Coori a $1 to ride the Merry go round. Landen waits and when it comes time to ride he cries that he does want too:scared1: O.K. so now I REALLY worried that WDW is not going to be fun for him But David says don't worry it will be O"K' it wil work out Fine.
So we go check into our room. David and Corri bring ALL our stuff from the car up to our room. We try to organize it and Corri decide to take Landen swimming in the pool. They had a great time in the pool.
Time to get ready for dinner Tonite are meeting 2 of Corri friends tonite, she belongs to a group of working mothers who all had babies in Dec 2006, she meet on the internet. We will be meeting them at Saint Sebastian Winery.
We get to the winnery and the are having a free tasting:woohoo:So we go to the tasting:thumbsup2
Corri friends arrive, one has a boy and one a girl, there is resturant on top of the winery, wonderful brezze, and beautiful scenery. we have a nice time visting, the kids had fun playing together.
We head back to motel for a GOOD nite sleep. because we had not really sleep very much in the last two nites.

Hi friends, So sorry I have not posted more on my TR, been a little busy with work and stuff, alsobeen putting pictures in my photobucket account and working on editing my Photpass pictues, we has 313 photopass pictues and now have over 500 with borders and edits:yay:

Monday Sept 7th St Augustine, the beach, Old Town and a little problem:scared1:

We wake up around 6:30 a.m. and Corri and I decide we take a walk on the beach to take some pictures of the sunrise.:goodvibes
The motel in just across the rode for the beach/ ocean.
We try to take some pictues but the day is a little cloudy, but we did get some nice pictures.
We return to our room and Landen has woken up and we decide to go down to the lobby for the FREE breakfast, nothing special but it was FREE.
After breakfast we get ready to go the beach:)
We head to beach it about 9;00 a.m. and we are the only one on the beach. We spread our blanket in and area we think is good. and intoduce
Landen toocean water, he's not to sure he like it and keeps runing from the tides, would rather plan with his cars an monster trucks in the sand. After a while we decide to take a walk to collect some seashells, there is a big beach house about a 1/4 of the mile down the shore with big rocks around it and we head that way, it fun walking along the beach and we find lot of pretty shells and I am surprise how strong the tides are ,some come up far on the shore and some could knoke to down, Landen likes finding the holes in the sand where people have place their beach umbrealla and covering them up with sand.
We return to our beach blanket and it is WET:scared1: guess we didn't pick a good spot though I thought it was far enough from the tides, Our cameras and cell phone where in a plastic bag but the bag was not sealed completlely shut, and is wet to
,WE decide to had back to motel and Landen and Corri go swimmining in the pool there, We have lunch with the food we got at Walmart last night and decide to Go the Outlets and look for the Disney Store that I heard about here on the DIS. O.K. need to stop now as i am babysitting Landen and he wants Gramma to play.

Sorry to be missing in action for so long, things have been a little crazy around here. Dave is feeling a little better, and going back to see the Dr, on Thursday, I'm watching
Landen this afternoon and he watching Toy Stoy with Poppa, so I'll try to post some now.

LET'S see we left off with Monday afternoon in St Augustine. Fl, Sept 7th

I had wanted to go to Disney outlet store I had read about here on the DIS:thumbsup2 On our drive into ST Augustine on I-95 we had seen two outlet mall, But I had left the addess of the disney store at home, so we put outlet in GPS and we got one about 10 mintues away:) We got to parking lot didn't see any sign for a disney store and could see another outlet mall across the highway, Corri put in Disney store ans the GPS said .2 miles so we where at the right one.
It was a nice store, lots of t-shirts, sweatshirts halloween things, toys, But I did not buy anything, And the prices where not bad, But some how I wanted my 1st Disney souviner purchase to be at Walt Disney World, I know silly but that was just my feeling I want to be able to remember where I was when I brought it and the magical feeling you get when you do something at WDW:tink:

We decided to drive down the main steet in St Augustine, and it lead us the the OLD town area, we parked and walk in a area of shops, among the old building of St Augustine, we saw the Oldest wooden schoolhouse, Oldest drugstore A Falger college, a mission and other old histical buildings.
But during this time we noticed that my camera was working propetly,:scared1: remember the wet blanket earlier in the day. We had return to our room after being at the beach, Coori had checked the cammera and the cell phone that was in the bag, her camera would not turn on . mime screen did light up, and the cell phone was fine. Corri had brought her good camera , that is a little big and goes through batteries like water, so we thought we be fine.
But when I started
taking pictures in Old Town the pictures on the screen where on 1/2 there and not clear , like something was eating away at them:scared1::scared1: I did try to take some but finally I cou ld not see any picture on the screen. Corri did take some with her camera, but she would have to change batteries after every 10 pictures or so.

We Got ICE CREAM:yay:on our family vacations it has aways been a tradtion to havea special ice treat some time during the trip:thumbsup2 David always decide when and where, so during our walking tour of old Town, he see a little ice creme shop. and decides it time, we get two bowl to share, I let David pick our because I usually like what he picks better then What I have picked and he switchs with me, it kind of a little family joke between us, Corri had Landen get a bowl to share too, but when he get outside Labden wants he OWN, So Of course Poppa has to get him one and it BLUE BUBBLEGUM. and he LOVES it. This is always a special memory of our trips, we always remember where we got our ice cream on each trip:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We did see the musket drill at the old fort. it was intertersting, we where going to tour the fort but it closed at 5;00 and it was 4;45 when we got there.
There are lots of nice things to do in St. Augustine, but most of the histortical things are expensive and we though it would be hard with Landen, I like history and hope that someday we can go see more of these things again.

Well going to make sure that this post, I had typed it a little early and it said I was logged in and lost all my hard work.

I TOTALLY get why you wouldn't want to buy a Disney item until you bought one at Disney first.:)
I used to LOVE bubblegum ice cream when I was a kid. I would save the gum on a napkin and chew it all later. :laughing: GROSS!! But, how else are you supposed to eat the gum?
Can't wait to hear more and hope you get the chance to get another update in soon.

:wave:Hi Hope everyone had a good weekend, went to "boo at the zoo" with Landen and Corri yesterday, so I did not get to post like I promised, So I going to catch up now:banana::cool1:

When I left off we where playing at a playground, and trying to decidie where to eat dinner, Corri suggusted a place called SALTWATER COWBOYS, we had seen a advertiment in a brochere we had pick up, David wanted a good sit down meal, as we had been fast food it alot, I can't wait until we get to WDW and get to do our meals we picked on the dining plan:woohoo:
We where surprise to find the resturant was a residential lneighborhood at the end of the street, located on a swappy area, David said look out for alligators,:scared1:
The resturant was pretty, big plants, and weathered seaside decor
. David had Boiled shimp, which he loved, said that they tasted like lobester. Corri had fish, and I had a steak, both where good, the resturant was nice and we all enjoyed our meals.
After dinner we decide to find a Walmart to see if there where any pictures on my chip from my camera, So off to walmart we go we find one on the GPS not to far away, We go the camera area and put the chip in one of one hour kishos, just like the one where I work, The pictures taken at Old Town are red streaked and some are totally blank. We decide to BUY a new camera, We look at cheap off name brands and decide to buy a Kodak one, I get a 8.1 mega pix one more than my old one:woohoo: I'm very happy to not have to worry about taking pictures now, We ask Corri if she want a new camera, she say she just get more batteries, and maybe her's at motel will work to morrow.
So we go back and relax, for tomoorow we are off to Orlando. And one day closer to Walt Disney World::MickeyMo

Going to stop for now, I need to work on my photo pass pictues my time is almost up.

I just came across your trip report and thought I would say "hi" to another Buckeye! Your beach pictures are gorgeous! Your grandson is a cutie. :)

How did you like the Equinox you rented? We bought one in April and have been thinking about driving it to Florida to visit family. I am wondering how it was for gas mileage, room and comfort. We haven't driven ours anywhere too far yet. :)

How did you like the Equinox you rented? We bought one in April and have been thinking about driving it to Florida to visit family. I am wondering how it was for gas mileage, room and comfort. We haven't driven ours anywhere too far yet. :)

So glad you had a nice visit to the zoo this weekend. I haven't been to the Toledo zoo in SO long. Probably 3yrs. That's what happens when the kids get big.

Here's goes a long awaited update!!!!!:cool1::banana::lmao:
Tuesday, Sept 8th, we get up and get our breakfast from the free breakfast in the lobby, stil in our pj. and bring it back to room to eat. I come up with the idea that if we could but just the things we need for the next two days in 1 suitcase, we would not have to take everying out of the car, so Corri and begin to try to organize things and Dave tries to straight out the car. We get things ready , David checks the room one last time, That something he always does on all our trips, he checks under the beds and all the drawers to mack sure we have not left anything and in all the years we been married (35) we never left anything yet.
So we off to ORLAND about 10:30 a.m., we have decided to drive down the I-1 A it a highway along the ocean, that someone at pool told us about. We find the highway after a little bit of turn around and are surprise to find it a toll highway, it cosy us $2.00. We drive down I-1A though the towns of Palm Coast, FalglerBeach, where I had check out a motel on the internet and though we might stay there was surprise to find it was quite far from St. Augustine. Ormond Beach, Holly Hill. we see lot of BIG beach homes and sometimes view of the ocean and we arrrive at Daytona Beach. I though we might try a drive on the beach but David did not want to take the car on the beach, which again surprised me.:confused3 Daytona hotel are big and TALL. and l of beach souviner shops, We come to I -4 and head
to Orlando:yay:
We see our 1st DISNEY sign:woohoo: And I see signs for I-192 where I was planning on getting a motel room. So we get off and decide to get something it eat it about 12:30, we are seeing lots of motels, shops and touist things, We get a meal at Sizzler we don't have any here, and it had a god buffet. I have the motel book in head and start to check out the ones in the book. I ask at the Ist and the clerk say that one is for Kissimee which is where I thought we where,
But we are in ORLANDO:woohoo:so we keep checking we see a Econolodge. it Big, we ask and our given a walk- in rate of 36.99 a nite, we take it and ask of a ground floor room. Our room is nice, we are happy with the area of the motel and the staff was very nice.
Corri was seen an ad for a "train and tolley musuem" and wants to take Landen there as he loves trains. The musuem is just down the street from our motel. The addmission is $10.00 and adult, but only$ 5.00 for senior citzen and David quality at 55 :rotfl2: so Poppa and Landen go see the trains.:goodvibes

Corri and I take a ride and find that we are only about 5 mintues from Sea World, Good news for tomorrow, We go in to a souviner shop, and see what they have and get some Postcard to send,:woohoo: I love to send postcards:goodvibes
We also stop in a imformation center, and get some pamplets. We pick up Poppa and Landen, they where there about and hour. Landen LOVED the train displays , David said it had a lot a intersesting things.I talk them into Driving To Kissimiee, to see if we made a good choice on the area. On the waY I see my 1st offical WDW signs:yay:

So happy:cheer2::yay::woohoo::cool1::banana:We are here!!!

The town of Kissimiee is nice, but for us I belive we made a great chioce in the hotel and area we choose and will stay there again.

We go back and Corri and Landen go swimming, The hotel has 3 pools , One small wading pool and a hot tub.
Corri had Landen had a good time swimming, both love the water.
After swimming we decide to go play miniature golf, which there 4 diifernt place on Inernational dr, which in the name on road our hotel is on. We choose Pirate's Cove. Landen had to have aregular putter Not the plastic kid one. This was he 1st time golfing , we had FUN:yay:
Can't seem to remember where we eat dinner it not in my notes:confused3I think it might have been chinese though.

After golf and dinner We finally convice Corri to let us buy her a new camera, so off to Walmart we go:lmao:
Corri get her new camera which makes me happy, because she take beautiful pictures, wait to you see her SW pictures
And I don't want her to be with out pictures of her son 1st trip to WDW:goodvibes
O.K. going to post this now, hopefully everthing work out O.. and I don't lose my post.

I live in Tiffin. It's about and hour southeast of Toledo.
We really liked Pop as well. It was such a nice resort. We stayed in the 90's section close to the Rubik's cube stairs on the ground floor. If we cut through the parking lot we were right at the bus stops which was really nice. It cut out some of the walking. We probably did pass each other at some point.:)
I didn't do a trip report. I should have just to relive the trip.:)

Kelly, I know where Tiffin is. We lived in Findlay for about a year!

Grace, thank you for the update. I know it's hard to find the time to do things that you like. I just returned from a week in Mexico with my oldest DD and my DSIL. I LOVE HER! We had a very nice time, got to see Dolphins in the wild, baby sea turtles on the beach, and I drove a "Mexican Lexus" (1970's vw bug) It was a LOT of fun.
The details of Hawaii aren't much yet. All we have are dates and airline tickets. July 20-Aug 3.
I can't wait to see Corri's SW pics either!

Hi Everyone!!!
i'm soory again to be missing for so long again, but life got the best of me lately. more on that later.

I so happy to see I have some new friends:cool1: and will catch up with everyone later ( I promise)
I think it best to try to get some more of my TR done now that I have a few mintues and chat with my friends later, also my computer is running SOOOOO slow it took me almost 10 mintues to get to the DIS:confused3
O.K. Let's see we left off with Day #5
Our SEA WORLD DAY!!!!!!:yay::cheer2::yay:

We got up early and where on our way a little after 8:00 a.m. we walk over to Pondersosa for their $3.99 breakfast buffet. It was pretty good. We drove over to Sea World and arrived just before 9:00 a.m. had to wait for the parking lot to open. it cost $12.00 to park. or $16.00 for perferrefed, we chose the $12, and found we where just a few spaces from the perffered. It was just a couple a minutes walk to the gate. It cost us $179.00 for 3 adult tickets, I had got a discount from Southwest airlines, that you sign up for on the internet, thanks to a tip I learned here on the DIS (Thank you )
We went thought the gate, Corri and I very excited to be at Sea World together with Landen.:goodvibes We had often visted
Sea World when it was here in Ohio and had annual pass for many years, and we have some wonderful memmories of the fun we had there.:goodvibes:goodvibes
We got our ticket for our 2nd day free:cheer2::cheer2: you just have to show you tickets at the courtsy booth just inside the front gate, and we where off. The park is very pretty, and i found it peaceful in a way. We saw the Manta ride being tested for the day, looked like a great ride , not sure if we will ride it though.
We headed to Dolphin, petting pool. The 1st feeding is at 10:00 and Corri wants to do this with Landen, it cost $7.50 for a cone of fish, all the people wanting to feed the dolphins get together and are told how to feen them . there is also a photographer taking pictues of them , if you did not buy a cone you are in another area and can't see them as well. Landen and Corri LOVED it they had a awesome time, wait to see the pictues Corri took of the Dolphins, there beautiful.
We had planned to see the sealion show but missed, it so we head to See Shamu which is of course all the way on the other side of the park!!! I find the walk nice we stop to see lots of little things and as I said before the park is beautiful, we stop at a little shop and David find a little plastc teasure chest for .99 that he has to buy Landen.
We get to the Shamu Stadium, and have to wait for the it to open to get seats, in the mean time Landen has stopped Shamu's Happy Harbor and want to play, we tell him it not open yet and we will take him after we see Shamu, he not totally happy with this, We get into the stadium and get seats in the Splash Zone, we had really great seat:cheer2:
Landen still wants to go to the playground, but Poppa give him that treasure chest, and we have one happy little guy again. The Shamu show is called "Believe" it is done on large screens that move and the music is wonderful and the story touching, The look on Landen face when he saw Shamu jump out of water was one of awe, but the look on Coori face when Shamu got up on the deck in front of us and Landen pointed to Shamu and "said Look Mommie"

After The show we let To Shamu's Happy Harbor for Landen to play. Corri tryed to get him to climb the net with her but he did not like it,he liked the sandy play area, Poppa wanted to take him on some of the kidde rides but we decided it would be best to wait unt WDW,to be able to have him ride rides that we could ride with him 1st after the experience in St Augustine when he did not want to ride the merry-go- round.
We get a refilliable Pop for $7.95 with pop refills for $1.80.

Well, I got to go now, Have to get soon rest before work tomorrow and what to make sure that this post.

As to what been keeping me away is lot of things.

I have been very busy at work, we are in the middle of a "COATS for Kids" campaign where you buy a paper coat for and $1 and the money goes to buy warm winter coats for kids, this program is sponored by the local tv and radio stations and Discount Drug Mart where I work, in fact our store in #1 in sales of the paper coats:woohoo:abd tomoorw we having a bake sale which I'm in charge of.

And in the mean time, we have been working on some major kitchen repairs.

Last week we notice some water under the sink, when David went to repair it, It turn our to worse than it had stated out so we had to replace the sink base and cabinets, and got a new counter and sink, So I have all my kitchen things in boxes in my living room, our house is small so not a lot place to keep things while working on kitchen , David is doing a beautiful job and I am looking forward to my kitchen when it get done.

Also had to finish up my Photopass pictures, end up with 845 from the orginal 325 that we got taken in the parks:woohoo::yay::woohoo:

And my computer has been really SLOW, it and older one and sometimes has a mind of it own,

Again a REALLY Appreciate everyone patence with me . I too any looking forward to sharing the WDW part of our MAGICAL trip with all of you.

Movies and Pop's, There are 3 pools at Pop's a bowling pin, flower petal, and computer pool, and a kiddie pool, also pop jets, My DSG, loves the water too, and loves the pools at Pop's. If I had a chance to stay at a moderate I Like to stay at The Port Orleans French Quarter. Do You have a Pre trp report? Are you doing the dining planing?

We had a VERY NICE day at Sea World, It was something we all really wanted to do:thumbsup2 It really to bad that they closed Sea World here it:sad1:
I always had so much fun there, and it that time I NEVEr thought I be lucky enough to be able to go WDW ever,

Thank you for all the Good Thanks giving wishes!!:) I had a very nice one, We had dinner at Corri's and my brother and sister and their families where with us.

Again sorry to be missing, My Computer is acting up so I'm at Corri's watching Landen while she is out, It is harder to find time to be on the computer when I have to use Corri.

So let's see we left off at Sea World on Wed Sept 9th,

We saw the Shamu show "Belive" Is was AWESOME, really touches your Heart:love: We played at Shamu Happy Harbor , Coori got a hand print done of her's And Landen hands as elephants.

We left about 6:00 p.m. we where there from opening to just before closing, planning to see the rest of Sea World on our 2nd day (Monday Sept 14Th)

We had plans to meet one our Corri's Baby group MoM's at The "World's Largest Mc Donald's Which is right down to street from our hotel, We had had fun at the dinner, The McDonalds has the regual McDonalds food and also special things that they cook for you too, And Lots of acrade games,
And a giant play area.

We went back to our hotel and got things ready so we could leave bight and early for TOMORROW we "GOING TO MICKEY HOUSE:woohoo:

Thursday SEPT 10th

IF FINALLLY HERE!!!!! WE GOING TO WDW!!!!!!!!!

WE get up about 8:00 am and eat a quick beakfast of some snack we have and we are off.

We dive to WDW from our hotel in ORlando and it only about a ten mintue drive, As we get closer I SO excited as I see signs resorts and parks and finally The POP CENTURY sign, We turn on the rode to Pop's and tell we Landen that we are almost at Mickey house and we start to clap and yel l YEAH!!! We stop at the gate house, and hear WELCOME HOME:):)
And the Cast member give Landen his 1st MICKEY sticker , I start to cry
so happy and excited to be able to share all the magic of WDW with my family:goodvibes:tinker:
We go to check in and things go farily quickly. I did not do the online check in. We are givien a room in the "90 section, by the computer pool on the 1st floor and it ready! After getting mixed up and making a few wrong turn we find our room, I not too happy we are only 2 doors away from the parking lot, but I don't like the idea of being able to see parked cars from my room, I know I won't be standing out side my room much looking at the parking lot but it borther me so we head back to the check in and see if there is any thing else, and there had a room in the 70 section on the 1st floor that was ready too, We find that room and I like it much better . We have a garden area outside our door and it is closer to the Century hall. It was near the Mr. and Mrs Potato head ikons

David and Corri go to car and bring in all our stuff, And We get our 'Wel come to WDW' pakage that Mickey sent"and the letter telling Landen to be good and Tinkerbelle will leave him something special from him.

We Get our pin lanyards, autograph books and head to Century hall for lunch. I get a burger and david and Corri get the pasta and we share with Landen i also try my 1st piece of tye dyed chesse cake. I LOVED it:love:
David and Corri enjoyed the pasta dish , both said it was good.
We also buy our refilliable mugs:thumbsup2

After lunch we head To Magic Kingdom on the Bus. Landen Enjoyed the
Bus ride David was in charge of The stoller, We brought our regular stoller, I don't like umbellera stollerm I think the baby looks so uncofortable in them.

We get our 1st PP picture taken in front of the railroard station. As we walk I stiil can't beiele that we are here, And right in front of us our 1st charcter . It's Dasiy:)

Oh, Grace! This is so exciting, I got all teary-eyed...hope you post a photo of your first day. ::yes:: I can hardly wait until Sophia is old enough - she is 15 mos and doesn't even know who Mickey is yet....(bad grandma, I know...but how to introduce her so young?). Would love to find an animated Santa Mickey - WDW wold have been the perfect place to find one, but had to cancel the short December trip.

Anyway, 'nuff about me...am so excited now that you've arrived at Disney!

Great update! It sounds like your first room was close to where our room was. We were in the 90s section facing the parking lot and not to far from the computer pool. If we exited our room and went right we would head straight to the computer pool. It was an okay location. It was actually pretty quiet. The only thing that happened unusual was someone mistaking our room for theirs. :)

Sorry to be missing again, my computer was misbehaving and had to spend some time away from home. I was hard finding time to get it fix ( not not to mention the cost) during the Hoildays. But all is well now. Some day I really need to get a new computer mine is very old.

When I returned, I could not post on my TRIP REPORT:scared1: seem it was closed for beinfg inactive. I ask on the tech support thread ( thanks MinnieandNana ) and talk to Rosie and Lisa who suggusted I contac the mod a she reopend it for me.:yay:


I had a WONDERFUL Christmas And hope all my friends did too.
Corri made a photobook of our trip to WDW, it brought tears to my eyes, It will be a teasure I can pass to Landen, and share with furture children to help prepare them for Disney.


Disney trip update:dance3::woohoo:

Let's see we left off, with meeting our 1st character/
Daisy, and the its Pulto, pluto:
Pulto got down on one knee to sign Landen autograph book, I asl Landen if he would like to give him a hug,
and he hug his knee, everyone around, said AH!!!!
We also saw Mary Poppins, which excited me I remember my sister taking me to see it, and she going to get us something to eat every time there was sing, she not a big music fan. Mary Poppins was just waking not greeting guest, we also got autograph with Pinoccho.
We decide we get Landen 1st haricut:cheer2: I was worried that we would have to wait a long time as I was told first thing in the morning is the best time to go.
When we got there both barbers where just sitting in their chairs, there was a lady and a man. Landen was aloud to choose which barber, He choose the man, Micheal was his name. David also planned to get his hair, he thought it might help Landen not be scared if he was getting his cut too. Landen was GREAT, he sat so still. He got blackears with 1st haircut embroried on them , a certicarte with his hair wrapped in tisuse and with mickey sticker. David said this was one on the best haircut he every had, Wish I could remember the lady name who cut his hair. We took lots of pictures, but not sure what on the photobucket account, after the computer problems.
Next we went to ride the WDW train, we around all the way around the park. Landen loves trains. got a great picture down main street at the railroad station. also spend time looking around at some on the things in the station. I enjoyed that, and reading about the things to look for here on the DIS, And got a pressed penny at the station:woohoo:
When we where it was geting time for the parade:yay:
We choose a seat right main street, in front of the theatre, I LOVE THIS PARADE . I felt like everyone is waving just at me. Landen fell a sleep waiting for the parade to start, and is still sleeping when it is over, so we decide to go home to POPs and get settled in and do some laundry and maybe go swimming.

I'm so sorry I disappeared...getting depressed...the night before last there was a decent ding for exactly my dates!!! BUT it was late, Mia was putting the baby to bed and I had no way of knowing if the dates were still available for her to take off (Gracie I care fir Sophia during the day, so Mia would have to take the days off in order for me to go)....soooo....the ding is long gone....sigh... :sad:

I was named after my grandmother ( my mother's mother Grace) and my mother I'm Grace Amber (Amber was my mother name) I I feel it fits me. I love my name.

Here's my Gracie - a little history: She is now almost 17 (you'll see her cataracts in the pic)....we adopted her after she was rescued from a puppymill at age 13 - She had been used as a breeder for 13 horrific yrs and was pregnant with 3 puppies when she was rescued. The puppymill owner died, it was turned over to the courts and rescue groups rushed to saved all the furbabies.
Grace has no teeth due to poor nutrition, missing half her lower jaw due to the same, mammary tumors and terrible cataracts. She was abused beyond belief and I've no idea how this 5 lb 4oz little blessing survived. She has the sweetest spirit. She does not give kisses for she knows nothing about that. Mty darling gets Valium twice day so she can cope when I go away. She is happy, happy, happy - even plays with toys! Sleeps with me and I adore her!! So sorry to go on...guess you can tell how much I love her. She's a little miracle for sure.

Hi Friends

Life is still keeping me VERY busy.

Corri and Landen where in and car accident last friday ( a week ago)

They where reared ended. Luckly they where not hurt, just shake in up. But the car is totaled. So we are looking for a new car, also her divorice is final, FINALLY (as of Monday) I hope that now she will be able to move on with her life.

She is always telling me when she see a ad for deal at WDW, she really wants to go back, And we are talk of possible going in Dec of 2011.
