SW KIds play free package-but only if they are under 10

I just booked this package at the Residence inn, it includes 2 adult and 2 child tickets -length of stay. They would not let me pay the difference between the child and adult ticket for my 12 yr old. Instead I had to buy a package that included 3 adult and 2 child tickets ( don't know what I'll do with the other child ticket) The booking guy even asked the manager at the desk what to do. Does this seem right?

That seems ridiculous, but then again, families with only one child are still getting an extra ticket they don't need either. That's the only problem with these type of packages, they don't offer much flexibility. We'll be there from Dec1-10th if you want to try to get some of your $$ back and get rid of the extra ticket. Sorry, we'll be there the Dec. 25th- 27th. I may look for a family in the hotel that would want the ticket.
