My family and I are bummed!

We are not the crafty type and ordered our FE from someone on internet. When we didn't get it today we emailed the lady and she hadn't even started it!!! We are now scrambling to make one in case it doesn't get here before we leave on Monday. How did we fall through the cracks! :confused3

I don't have a FE too - I am just going to use a bag to hang on the hook... got the gifts though :goodvibes

My husband is celebrating his birthday today, we are now in Vancouver, and will have a nice dinner to start with the celebration.:yay:

3 more days!

We arrived also on saturday and have been having a great time, we spent the day in Whistler doing the Monkido course at Wild Play and Ziplining with Zip Trek. Today has just been exploring Vancouver. We can't wait to board tomorrow. We are at the Pan Pacific and are looking forward to waking up tomorrow and seeing the ship in port.

Hi,

My room has changed from 7619 to 6088 - for those of u paarticipating in FE. Also I cannot find room 7049 - apparently there is no such stateroom number. One of the rooms #6012 don't have a FE outside the door, not sure to leave the gift at the door or?

Just going to barge in on your thread to see if anyone is/has done the ABD add-on for this sailing? Just trying to get some feedback so we know what to sort of expect for our Aug. cruise.
thanks

Hi, I think the ABD add on was cancelled for our trip. I guess they did not have enough people signed up. We did Vancouver on our own and it was very nice, I would definatley recommend seeing the sights before or after your cruise.

Thanks for this, I was looking for info on the AK ABD add-on. I forgot they were also offering an add-on for Vancouver, we are not signed up for that.

Back from the trip. So not ready to work yet. I think my body is still on AKDT. Funny story that Lillbunny and James were our tablemates :-)

It's certainly a small world. It was great to meet you and your roommates as well. Definitely had great conversation at dinner every night. Even mixed in a little drama from the Holland couple with other tables. Glad you guys made it all home safely. We're starting our trek back home tomorrow.

Thank you to all who gave us such fantastic, thoughtful gifts during the FE exchange. It was our first and we loved it! Maybe we'll see some of you on the Hawaii cruise in 2012. Happy sailing and thanks again!

A fabulous cruise indeed! We couldn't have asked for better weather for our port days. My DH even broke out his one pair of shorts for our day in Ketchikan. And to think I made fun of him for packing them...:rotfl:

I want to thank the FE group too, I had so many wonderful gifts and I wish I had more time to prepare mine. Small FE group works out great for me (1st timer too) as I didn't have that much spare luggage space.

We would like to thank the FE group also. This was our first time doing the FE & my boys had so much fun with it.

Here's another thank you to the FE group! It was so much fun coming back to the room that it was difficult to keep the kids from running down the hallway.

While every gift was equally appreciated, I do have to make two special mentions...my kids are skill-crane addicts, so to the person who included the little skill crane LCD game - it is still played to this day. And a related thanks to whomever dropped the little bottle of Baileys in there, that stupid skill crane game beeps like crazy, I'm getting a full size bottle if they keep playing it! :)

I almost got busted doing a little additional FE gathering - I grabbed an item from a store on Ketchikan's Creek Street to throw in an FE. When I came out of the store I called over to my wife with "I just picked these up for..." - just then Shanonn & fam came down the boardwalk...after they passed I quietly finished my sentence with ".....them." :rolleyes1
