Help! If I want a shot at seeing Epcot from my BWI balconey, should I request the top floor of Standard View or Garden View? TIA

I had a standard room booked at the BWI this past May. I made my request while booking as well as faxing the resort 3 days before arrival. This is what I requested: non smoking room, full balcony, daybed and a view of Epcot or the boardwalk. When we checked in, we were given room 3304. When we walked in the room, we had a daybed, we had a full balcony and to our surprise, we had a perfect view of the Eifel Tower in Epcot WS. We could see the top of the "ball" with the Mickey hand and "Epcot". We heard the music during Illuminations and ToD. We were able to see the fireworks from Illuminations, the "higher' ones. We had a view of the Garden Suites and were a quick walk away from the quiet pool which we always had to ourselves!

Wow! Thanks Desnik - sounds perfect! I hope I get that lucky this December! Do you think that was a Standard room like you booked, or that they upgraded you?

I think this was a standard view room. I have seen other posts of people who have gotten a similar view and booked a standard view. If you want an even better view than we had, I'd probably request a floor or two up. Good luck and I'll send some pixie dust your way!;)
