We went to EPCOT last night and saw Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at the food and wine festival and they were great. Pure, real great music. The food was great and so was the beer. I know I was supposed to have wine but they had a lot of choice beer as well. If BBVD comes again next year I will definitely go again.

Hopefully you all got out before the rain - we missed the concert but stayed for the fireworks and the deluge (and laughed hysterically in our waterlogged clothes making our way back to BLT!)

We literally got into our truck and it started pouring. It was great timing.

Do you have a dryer in your villa? Hope so. It would be kind of funny to hang your socks over the balcony like some slums. :rotfl:

We thought the Food and Wine Festival was terrific. Didn't stay for the concert, as we arrived at Epcot at 9 a.m. and went to Future World until the World Showcase opened so by 5 we were tired and ready to leave. I loved sampling all the offerings from the different countries, and the portion sizes were just right. Stopped off at the Wonders of Life pavilion on the way out and bought some bottles of wine that we had sampled. One I liked in particular was the honey wine from Ireland.

Lucky for you. I've seen plenty of Florida rain, but that storm was something else (then again, this is the first and only time I've been caught outside in it!) I talked to several people with ponchos on who said they might as well have not worn them. And yes, of course we had a dryer. But we needed a few spin cycles in the washer first to get ALL that water out.

We got luckier on Sunday at MK. Every time it rained we managed to be inside; first at the Laugh Floor and then shopping on Main Street. Cleared up just in time to catch the monorail back to the CR for our Magical Express bus.

We were there too! We saw all 3 concerts on Saturday, then had dinner, then got stuck in the rain getting back to our resort. It was freezing cold but worth it for all that great music!! We saw BBVD last year too and will be going back next year hoping they are there!!
