Snuggie for Kids?

Has anyone made one of them? PrincessM would love one for Christmas and I thought it would be so much cuter if I could use fun fleece rather than that boring pink.

So, if you've made one, please share any tips and if you have any easy directions (for a very new sewer), I'd appreciate it!

Have you tried a bathrobe pattern? My daughter says a snuggie is just a backwards bathrobe anyway.

Oh, I don't know how to read a pattern! I'm a novice sewer, I just kind of put stuff together.

Good idea, though, I think I'll be able to figure it out.
