Okay I am flying into the airport the night before our cruise. We arrive at MCO at 11:30pm. We are spending the night at Holiday Express. Therefore, we will take the complimentary shuttle to the hotel the night we arrive and to the airport the next morning since we have purchased DCL transfers. What do I do about my luggage? HELP!!

Since you will be going back to the airport to take the DCL transfer, you will just take your luggage back with you to the airport and place it on the DCL bus with you.

I can do that? I thought people who get in that day take it to a certain place at the airport and they get it to the ship. I can take it to the bus with me?

Since you are flying in the night before, you don't put your DCL transfer tags on your luggage. You'll pick it up from baggage claim and take it with you to the Holiday Inn Express.
To get the DCL transport, my understanding is that you'll need to come back to the airport (veterans, please correct me if I'm wrong). At that time you put your DCL tags on the bags and then meet with the DCL CM at the airport. They'll take it from there.

Katesdad is exactly right, collect your bags at baggage claim and take them to the hotel with you that night, and DON'T put your DCL bag tags on them until the next morning when you head back to the airport. The DCL reps will either take your bags for you (that's what they did with me) or they may have you take them on the bus to be loaded with you there. Generally the reps take your bags, though, and deliver them to your stateroom for you.
Enjoy your trip! :D

Skybaby- I read somewhere that there is a hotel in the main terminal of MCO. I looked at the prices and they weren't outrageous ($130 or so). Might this be a consideration for you? I suggest it because you never know how late your flight will get you in, and it may really give you some extra time to sleep in the morning.
Have a great trip!

Yes, the Hyatt's very convenient, although it's rare to get a room there for under $125. Skybaby's probably paying less than half that for the HI Express.
