Just read another post Natalie. Appears that November is a good month to go to meet others, especially those without kids. (kids are in school) Just go well before the U.S. Thanksgiving and you'll be in Value Season with cheaper rates.

Not sure yet if plans are set for that time next year though.

If there is a Mousefest next year (there isn't one this year) then that is also a good time to go. There are usually lots of DISers solo during that time.
