I've seen these around and was wondering if they were very hard to make. Does anyone have directions that they would be willing to share with me?

I haven't made any, but we have a couple from Joann's that we may do for Christmas. I just googled directions and found this (http://www.projectlinus.org/patterns/pdf/NoSewFB.pdf), seems pretty straight forward!
Good luck,
Jennifer
Very easy to make, I've made several, both lap size and crib size for a great nephew. I recommend doing a solid color on one side and a pattern on the other.
I cut in about 2 1/2" every 1 1/2". Then you just tie together. My DD absolutely loves her fleece blanket, using it constantly even now years later.

Thank you for both of your replies! I hope to make some for birthday gifts.

You can make pillows as well. They turn out really nice as well.

I made 10 of these tag blankets for xmas the year before last, very fast and easy!! My only recommedation is to cut your strip a little on the wider side. Most directions say to cut 1 inch strips, I think it looks nicer with 1 1/2 inch strips. When there is so many skinny strips, it starts to look straggly imo.
I second the solid on one side and print on the other.
Also made 7 of the pillows...very easy too!! Just lay a pillow form over the fabric you want and have clerk cut fabric so there is a "tag size" overhang on all 4 sides. Sandwich the pillowform between the 2 peices of fabric and cut and tie your strips. I cut my strips shorter, alittle above where the pillow started, so I wouldn't see the pillowform, peaking out in between each knotted tie, after it was finished.
They all turned out great and had very many happy people to receive them. Great inexpensive homeade gift!

Someone posted this link on my homeschool board. http://www.kids-sewing-projects.com/non-sewing-projects.html#fleeceblanket It looks easy enough. I am thinking of having DS make some for Christmas gifts. I like the pics. It makes it easier to understand what you are doing. There are also instructions on how to make a no sew pillow.
