Dear team, as an avid listener, and UK resident, I feel it is my solemn duty to try and enlighten you all on the UK in general, it's residents, our "funny" English accents, driving style and how we've slowly dragged ourselves into the modern world. Residents.

Accents.
Probably the most loved accent is the scouse accent, which is particular to the city of Liverpool. ( Where the Beatles came from ;) )

Our roads.
We do indeed drive on the right. In cars. Below is the A40, a main road into London and a typical English road. No " 7 lanes " here Julie. :lmao:

Finally manners.

This is very cute thread. I meet up with some friends from the UK every year in WDW. I can understand the wife but the husband - I have no idea what he is saying. You'd think I'd be able to understand. It's english afterall. We do have a bit of fun on our pronounciations of pecan and pasta that led to much laughter.

Love the breakfast picture. I could never understand the appeal of beans and tomatos for breakfast.

I had to laugh at Pete and Walter's descriptions of the food, I thought exactly the same thing my first time in Europe, runny eggs and beans.

Then again, I just spent a lot of the last week complaining about American food (esspecially your chips (crisps), you need a good packet of Walkers or Hoola Hopps out there, and don't get me started on chocolate!) I much prefer a good old Sunday Roast which my father lovingly provided after our flight. :goodvibes
